No. You get a Europa League place for winning, but the loser never has, even if the winner doesn't take the place. It has been different in the FA Cup.
"I hope it's a bloody great big stick. This **** just keeps on happening - you expect it happen, you can just see it coming - that's the sad thing." Something better change, as this pattern will not carry them thru the final 3rd of the season. The Chelsky result seems to have had the polar opposite effect of what I hoped it would.
I would put money on 150 loyalty points as being sufficient to get a ticket. It was 150 points in 09 when we played United and that was in the days before they took away all points gained from more than 5 years previous. We should get 32000 tickets and with just under 22000 season ticket holders, that will leave around 8000 ish for members, assuming the club retains 2000 for staff etc. Thankfully mine is guaranteed.
I'm surprised they haven't offered me a bed yet! Or at the very least a bloody season ticket in Park Lane! I've had the same seat for about 9 of the 10 years I've been going yet Spurs still can't turnaround and say "here, it's yours to lose now", they've offered me season tickets in West, Paxton and East yet despite my constant emails and calls of "no thanks, I'll have Park Lane, please", their response is constantly no.
Nope, been offered a season ticket about 6 years running now but none where I want to sit, I go to all the home games (league and cups) and sit in the same seat in block 35 (unless allocated to away fans). I'd even take a season ticket in 34 but they never offer me anything in Park Lane. I'm pretty sure there are season ticket holders in Park Lane, isn't there?
What a strange policy for the club to adopt. Not sure I see their logic here. Yes, there are season ticket holders in the Park Lane, my eldest son is one of them and I know of one other person.
Would I be correct in thinking that if Chelsea win the Final (heaven forbid), then Europa League would be open to 6th place in the league ?
