And so January closes to an end with City in a state of turmoil and the visit of high flying Derby this weekend. Three words I never thought I'd utter after the regular thrashings given out to the Rams by City over the past decade. Derby could well find themselves with an ample opportunity to dish out some revenge as the tables are turning. A clueless manager, a fire sale of unwanted players and a desperate run of form leave City fans wondering where they're team is heading, even the most optimistic of you must be finding it tough to see where we're going to points/performances out of this one. I'd suggest a trip to the docs if you really believe (not wish) we're going to win this one. In the Prediction League big CS for Sayer (which relieves some relegation fears) and The Exile (who was bottom at Christmas but now finds himself clear of the drop zone). Tables below.
Ok!! Time for **** or bust.........a CS sees me climbing and the city too........ shocking 3 - 1 to us with Jones scoring!!!!
Here we go........... 2-1 to us (yes I know, I'll have some of what I'm smoking too). KWJ as the scorer. Thanks Blue.
After much thought and deliberation I feel the team and Slade will want to prove something tomorrow and Direby can blow up as they did v. Forest. I'm not totally optimistic though. First time ever I think, I'm agreeing with Masky and going for a 1 - 1. Not a clue what our line up will be other than Jones will feature at some stage so him to score for me. Cheers Sheep.
I was going to go for a 1-1 draw as well, but can't bring myself to agree with Masky and Bluey. I just can't see us stopping Derby from scoring, but I think we can get on the scoresheet as well - I'll go for them just scoring the one extra. City 2 - 3 Derby unfortunately, with Whitts getting a goal.
3-1 to Derby. Can't see us getting past any Derby team with such a poor offence. Jones to get a consolation goal (something he's good at)
