Bad news for Renault according to Benson. It's not much better for the others - Benson has previously said that Honda were close to the power of the 2014 Mercedes PU, and OmniCorse said in early October that Ferrari were on course to reach their target of gaining 60hp. Looks like another year of Mercedes domination.
Mercedes didn't even stretch their legs last year. They are miles faster. Depressing spectacle Just gotta hope their speed is unreliable and that Honda deliver a strong PU to add interest.
When you invest 3 years and 500 million pounds on a set up regulations while the rest focus on the WDC/WCC you're going to do well while the rest struggle to even get close. I wish I could find my quote back in mid 2013 saying 'If you think Red Bull dominance is bad l, wait until you see Mercedes in 2014'. I wouldn't be surprised if Mercedes dominance is even bigger than last year as they can just focus more on maximising the chassis and reliability.
Let's not panic just yet.... At least wait until Sunday has been and gone before we sound the claxton put the red bulb in.
Atleast Ferrari had Mclaren/Williams and Renault to compete with back in the day......... Lets hope Williams produce a w06 killer
Given the way it's an evolution of last year's car I doubt the Williams is likely to be killer anywhere other than the low-downforce tracks, though I wait to be surprised. Also, seems from chatter like Sauber are going to go back to a blue colour scheme to match Nasr's sponsorship, which will be nice - bit of colour on the grid!
Looking more and more like it's going to be grey/silver given some of the photos of Alonso in black/white and the Honda Racing twitter. Unless they're deliberately trying to throw people off.
http://mobile.f1today.nl/en/news/mclaren-to-debut-2015-car-with-an-allblack-livery/ It could be anything. I'm still hoping for a purple McLaren
There might be more clues here, but it was hard to tell while watching through my fingers. Those of a sensitive disposition should look away now. http://www.mclaren.com/formula1/car/jenson-and-fernando-back-racetrack/
Think McLaren are doing a double-take here. They have been really good at hyping up the new car and there is no way on earth they will have a silver McLaren Honda. Looks like they will turn up to Jerez in jet black to test and could then potentially announce a new sponsor or release the actual livery with sponsors on when testing finishes/they arrive in Australia. I like that idea- keep people guessing!
Not sure about purple, but a nice beige or brown would be quite contemporary. If the car is as good as the MP4-29, brown is the only sane choice to be fair. They could bring in Hershey's as a title sponsor, 'cause they're $#!t too.
Jenson is a better actor than Fernando, but that really isn't saying much. My wardrobe can act better than Fernando.

Ferrari blame Alonso for their downfall: http://m.diariodelweb.it/motori/articolo/?nid=20150129_333258
Of course they do, their fundamental inability to admit anything is wrong at Maranello is why they're slowly become a midfield team.
Are they saying Alonso isn't a very good Aero guy or a very good engine builder? Because that's their 2 biggest failings. If so, it;s their own damn fault for letting a driver do it... explains a lot. In a way though he is to blame for their downfall..... In that he has dragged their absolute donkeys of cars in recent years up to places it had no right to be, which masked the problem somewhat. Maybe if he was a worse driver, they;d have taken action sooner as the size of the issues would have been more apparent haha.
