Very interesting newcomer from Nicholls tomorrow is Lac Leman in the 2.30 Taunton. This was 1 of the horses that were to be followed from that blog i posted on Saturdays thread. Sportinglife threshold is 5/2 and id be happy with that but i would reckon will go off odds on.

Interesting young newcomer for JJ/JP/AP in the Taunton 3:30 tomorrow but old fella CHESIL BEACH BOY 14-1 was second in this last year off 129 and this time round races off 6lb less which makes his chance look obvious to me!

And he cost a wholloping €185,000. You would imagine that he would need to perform exceptional well today if the old boy is ever going to recoup that purchase price. You do though have to feel quite sorry for the horse and perhaps wonder if he is now suffering from depression. Everything appeared bright as he won 3 out of 4 in France and then went to the sales. But then was sold to the ‘terrible trio’. You can just imagine him lamenting as the hammer came down and he fell into the hands of the ‘terrible trio’, ‘Oh Mr Henderson, where are thou??? Where are thou???’

I was going to tip one today at old Taunters but unfortunately said beast is now a non-runner. Regular readers hide your disappoint stoically.

Finally, I see that Pricewise has gone a bit Reckless with his Arkle tip today. 1 pt each-way Sgt Reckless at 25/1. No plunge thus far and 25’s still available if you want it.

Recipe for disaster going against him Ek...!

BEDOUIN BAY looks way too big at 33-1 in the last at Taunton.

What can go wrong with the days obvious treble; Kingfisher Creek (2:00), Lac Leman (2:30) & Reetaj (3:10) ?
In that 3:10, I can never remember seeing a Varian runner at 50-1 for such a lowly event!

Going to side with the 11yr old olympian boy , stepped up in trip lto and really wasn't that bad . Today's race looks a little easier olympian is on a reasonable mark and kilian Moore takes of an extra 3lbs . Kilian has a 30%Sr with the trainer so 17s looks to big ew this may drift more.
