Praying to God we don't make a hash of this like the top sides did yesterday. Don't expect it to be easy but I expect us to win.

Not an official prediction, but I think it will be Brighton 0-2 Arsenal. Walcott and Ozil to score.

I hope rosicky is playing wide rather than ramsey

That's my own personal line up, not the official one...If I had it my way, that's how I'd go, for me I don't want Shez near the first team for some time, I hope he doesn't start against Brighton with his dumb ****ing lax arrogant attitude.

Let's not forget, we won the cup last year WITHOUT Shezny playing, so we don't need him.

Team; Szczesny, Chambers, Koscielny, Monreal, Gibbs, Flamini, Walcott, Ramsey, Ozil, Rosicky, Giroud

subs: Martinez, Mertesacker, Bellerin, Coquelin, Cazorla, Alexis, Akpom

Almost the same one I picked. Only Shezny-Monreal instead of my 11.

Looks like Ozil on the left to me. The 4141 of this season requires the 2 CMs to run all day long, and Ozil just can't or won't do that. Monreal and Kos at the back scares me a bit. Have they ever played together there before?

Ozil covers a lot of ground when he plays - it'll be interesting to see now that he's bulked up whether he'll be a bit more physical in the tackle and at riding tackles as well.

Glad to see Szczesny, Ozil, Ramsey and Walcott getting gametime - hope we've got the incisiveness to hurt Brighton and our rustiness doesn't show

He covers a lot of ground by jogging around finding space. He's not the type of midfielder to charge back when the other team counter attacks.

I really enjoy cup games and with ten premier league teams already out of the competition, including several of the big teams we have a good chance of retaining the trophy this year. So I'm looking forward to this game.

We need to avoid a slip up and put in a solid performance.

Good to see ozil and Walcott getting time on the pitch though I had hoped one of Cazorla or Sanchez would have made the starting line up to make sure we get the result. If we aren't winning early in the second half we should be bringing them into action.
