Rumours we've secured a deal to sign Aymeric Laporte from Bilbao. He's a decent CB from what I've seen of him in La Liga. A proper footballer rather than simply a defender. But at age 20 he's another one for the future.

Added to the reports that we could see Pique return, it would be quite an interesting Summer window. It won't happen of course, but that has never stopped the press before.
Bollocks will adidas pay for him. They may help a bit with his wages, in the form of extra sponsorship for the player, but they are already paying us £75m a year which they would certainly expect us to use to buy high profile players! It's another pointless rumour anyway - same basis as Nike being willing to sign Ronaldo for us a couple of years back, just so he would be playing in Nike kit again.

Of course any player that the RS buy will be world class and any bought by United will be crap... We all remember how in summer most of the RS thickos here had said how each player bought by Brenda was fantastic and the best in their position. They even welcomed tagliatelle and said how Brenda was going to turn him into the best striker in the league. #crapjudgementbyRS
