I would go along with that - this has been a major bug bear of this season lack of rotation plus another Cahill masterclass. However, this will stop a fixture pile-up and help us focus - I dare say City had the same thing in mind.

I don't really think City are worrying about a fixture pileup, they have 2 CL games left :bandit: . Then they have the league and are they still in the league cup? No? So, with that squad they got, what they will have after Barca.. is the league to play for, hardly a fixture pileup playing a few FA cup games too tbh.

Fixture pileup is why you played those other players, the introduction of people like Hazard shows that the club wants to progress to the next round.

My word I hadn't even realised we were playing today. Comical scenes. Fair play to Bradford though.

Poor result but that's the cup...City next week - could go 8 points clear of the turkeys, the league is way more important to me this year.

I have a funny feeling they will too.
Barca are on a downward slide at the moment

Only for Barca or Manure this will happen. Crazy 0-6 win today against a very good team.
Virtually ref carried Barca over to 2nd half unscathed. Gave some dubious pen and red card made it 0-6.

Next year Suarez may be available on the cheap and won't be surprised if he goes to manures.

you didn't see City landed less than 24 hrs before the match from their vacation in the desert?
Spuds & us were very careful to avoid a replay. When the opposition got a goal back - both teams stopped trying.
Spud vorm even went one step ahead - caught the ball and threw it inside own net. <whistle>

Jose knows what he does, for that I am glad we didn't progress in FA cup. League is number one priority!!

Can't say I am glad we didn't progress.
Never like to see us go out of any competition.
All I can say is.....I am not too crushed. It's the FA Cup. I have seen my team lift the FA Cup 6 times, the league only 3 times, and not in 5 years.

Nice try at spinning, but we know you are crushed.

Losing at home 2-4 to Bradford after being 2-0 up is ****ing humiliating whatever the competition is

    <ok>

If Jose had instructed this he would have said "give them a goal then close the game", shock giant killing no disgrace <ok>

Do me a favour, don't ever try to presume what's in my head bud.
It is humiliating to lose to Bradford. The result was shocking.

Going out of the FA Cup however.....meh!
Its not the competition it once was, even Arsenal can win it! :p
