Thanks for posting They did miss more than a few sitters, when you watch the penalty appeal at full speed you can understand why it was given, we came away with the important 3 points that is all the game will be remembered for.
I thought that was a terrible refereeing decision, clearly outside even at normal speed. However it was a sending off, a red card isn't just whether its a penalty or not, he was last man, taylor woulda had to do something special to get back before the guy was one-on-one with the keeper. Denied a clear goal scoring opportunity, its a red and that won't be successfully appealed imo.
The bit about the appeal was tongue in cheek Josh, was just spicing it up a bit. Ellandback, you may have to bring forth a 22 page dossier explaining the errrm show of gratitude, which I won't repeat of course......ssshhh......
