Amusingly (or not) I looked at that Palace starting line and up before the game and thought, well...Puncheon and an in form Gayle on the bench, their attack doesn't scare me.
We don't seem up for it. The defence looks switched off. But my god daughter is enjoying her first time watching a game live.
I'm sure Ron will pull it together during the break. Need to score two though, really don't want a replay.
Very glad this isnt a league match, the home game against palace certainly won't be a home banker later this season !
Seems like we save our worst performances for the cup games (e.g. Sheffield) RK needs to sort this out and get the guys taking this seriously esp our two wide midfielders who appear to be offering very little going forward and no cover for our RBs Anyone out there actually watching the game live to comment as Solent is somewhat difficult to get a real idea of what is going on
I'm at the game. The midfield are dropping too deep and not trying to dictate play. But our defence either panic or slip up or watch as a Palace player just runs past. This is the worst I have seen our defence play this season.
Missing Wanyama and Morgan...luck has run out. Unless we turn it round (and I suspect RK has had a few things to say), we'll just have to concentrate on the league.
