According to the Times our attempts to sell Samba Diakite to a Turkish club I can't spell, have fallen through because we can't agree a fee. Samba, as I'm sure everyone remembers, is currently on loan to a Saudi club I've never heard of.

We expect to get some money for him?

He cost £4m so I would think we want some of it back.

Such a shame about Diakite, I thought he was going to be a star for us. His goal against Arsenal will stay with me for a long time. I doubt that he has any transfer value currently.

He was not the worst of that bunch but he did not seem to understand that tackling was meant for the ball and no the man.
Was it the Fulham game that we might have own before he was sent off because the genius that is Mark Hughes did not sub him?
Agree re the Arsenal goal. Happy days!

Yes, always looked good but always looked likely to get sent off.

I would like to think the club have kept tabs on him. Think he had tremendous potential and could do a real job for us if firing (and not getting sent off!)

I'm surprised we're not paying them to take him...

I'm sure that goal against Arsenal was supposed to be a pass out to the left that he sliced into the top corner...

With the right guidance, surely he could be a great player? I don't expect him to develop well at QPR, though. We don't do development.

Didn't even know he was with the club!
Thought he'd may have been a target for Harry.
See if we can offer SWP or Adel or both as a deal cruncher .................. or perhaps not.
