Has gone out on loan. I feel he deserved a shot in the first team with our injuries. Hopefully he can impress and come back as an option for us.
Might it not of been better had the said youth stayed in blighty in say the chumponship or divi's one
He's actually joined them on a free transfer. Seems a bit random seen as he was scoring for our reserves/U21's. http://www.hulltigersacademy.com/news/rossi-heads-to-belgium
Rossi obviously doesn't know he's gone on a permanent, he thinks he's only going on loan. #awkward Either that or the official Twitter has screwed up, which would hardly be a surprise.
His twitter feed now shares the same story as the academy (but in Dutch), joined them on a contract till the end of the season with an option for an extra year.
He's gone there on a contract, it's not a loan as far as I can see. Shame we never saw his potential, I always thought he looked rather handy but I suppose Waregem can pay him more than we can and he'll be getting comeptitive football. Had we not drawn Arsenal and got a lower league side instead, I have a feeling we might have seen him play.
If SB & TP don't think he's good enough then there's not a great deal else to say. He's gone, never got a chance in a cup game like all the kids, so the question is, when will any of them get a chance? Are any good enough?
In my honest opinion, no. Some of them might go on to be League Two or One players in the future, but most will find themselves in non-league very soon. The two that certainly would have made it, Cardwell and James, have been poached and anybody else good enough will almost certainly follow suit. Watson, Margetts and Clappison I'd say are our three best at the moment, maybe Aimson and Annan have a shot but it's very unlikely we'll ever see them in the PL unless something drastically changes.
It seems like he has got frustrated about not even getting anywhere near the first team when we have no fit strikers apart from Sagbo, who should be used to knock down doors, not smash footballs into the back of a net.
