Can completely understand tbh mate. When players are that awesome, and bang in the goals, people will overlook most things. He is a dirty ****er, he is always looking to wind up opposition defenders and make them retaliate so they get booked, he is just that type of players, sly barges, knocks, the odd insult, anything to rile the enemy defenders.....just the way he is built. Not everyone can be a clean cut Zola or Lineker type nice guy I suppose.

It's part of the S American culture [granted not all are dirty] that we argued in the Suarez/Evra thing. Watching that vid I posted and the treatment Ramos and Pepe got - they could quite justifiably gone crying to the ref but I believe what happens on the pitch, should stay on the pitch.
That's fair enough. I have no problem with Costa spitting apart, that's ****ing disgusting. Just worth noticing that everyone is silent about it really, especially the media mainly because he didn't handball in the WC v Ghana. So it goes to show, the hate fest with Suarez was all about his offending people's (misguided at best) sense of fairness. Not that anyone could admit that, and here we have someone who in their own terminology is a loathsome character and not a ****ing word about him let alone a media campaign. very fair matey Footballers are like everyone else, they have the same demographics, same % of nutbags ect ect. Costa and Suarez are that, they have screws loose. The disparity in treatment of the two by all and sundry is irritating though.
Are we at cross purposes mate? I agree with everything you've said and I wasn't defending Costa when I said it's part of the culture, just pointing out the similarity with his behaviour and Suarez - but the lack of retaliation to his jibes by Ramos and Pepe was the difference in how Suarez is now perceived.
No mate just pointing out that there's no hate campaign againt Costa is all, no myriad of hack articles.
Stop the politics lads, suarez and costa are both scumbags no matter where they come from, u dont bite and spit in any civilized society, no excuses. I played a decent level of football and never in my life did i think spitting and biting was a way to win..never, it shows nothing about winning, no matter how ur brought up especially being a 'professional'.
