Man city aka Bargain Barn

Todays there has been quite abit of movement transferwise amongst other clubs, with which Man city is in the midst of it again..

With so many incoming signings for citeh, then surely there must be plenty of outgoing on the cheap (they arent desperate for money)

Which players who are likely to go would you like as either first team or back up?

I'd take Weiss, Zabaleta, A Johnson and Adebayor (if it weren't for his wages) all at decent price.

 

When you consider the wages most of them are on and their probable unwillingness to drop to our wage level, only 3 I'd take are A. Johnson, Boyata and Weiss

Michael Johnson - possibly the biggest waster in football
Nedum Onuoha - Yes
Santa Cruz - one-hit wonder
Vladimír Weiss - Dunno
Dedryck Boyata - YES!

Aleksandar Kolarov - I rate him, but I'm not sure about others
Micah Richards - Not leaving
Adam Johnson - Not leaving

You missed Shaun Wright-Phillips

 

Only ones I'd want (taking into account the cost) would be Johnson and probably Zabaleta. Not sure about Boyata, havent seen loads of him but he looks decent.

 

Their squad size must be huge. Thats the thing that seems to seperate them from when Chelski were throwing money around. Chelsea were fast at shipping them back out after a season if they didnt work out, whereas City seem to just horde players and only get as far as loaning them back out. Whether or not thats stubborness on wanting so much money back for a player (Tottenham style - although i doubt it) or just their excessive wages is another question.

The amount of forwards alone they have is ridiculous... Dont they also have that Felipe Caceido or something, that they loaned out to a Spanish team all season?

That's true, but then again Crespo had 3 year loan spell with Inter and AC!

 

Emmanuel Adebayor - would definitely have him but would cost a lot and would have massive wages
Michael Johnson - no idea about him, would probably be cheap, but we already have decent midfield options
Nedum Onuoha - definitely have him! decent cover, probably a starter at RB
Santa Cruz - no, don't rate him that much, wages would be too high
Vladimír Weiss - possibly, good cover for Ben Arfa
Dedryck Boyata - yes! excellent cover
Jo - NO...there is no way i'd let Jo anywhere near the club...i'd rather let him perform horrendous sexual acts on me than get a contract at NUFC!
Given - not needed, would be harsh on Krul, Harer and Forster to get in someone who'd go straight above them
Aleksandar Kolarov - Possibly, if Enrique leaves, otherwise would be decent cover but wouldn't come cheap
Micah Richards - definitely! very good RB but would cost a fortune as he's English...
Adam Johnson - yes! but again would cost a lot and would have huge wages
Pablo Zabaleta - definitely! would take him no question, possibly high wages but would be an instant starter in my opinion!

 

Emmanuel Adebayor - Would take him if his wages were reasonable
Michael Johnson - Had his injury problems but he looked good when i saw him play. We were also linked with him a while back
Nedum Onuoha - Had an impressive loan spell at the Mackems and wouldn't mind him here
Santa Cruz - Was good at Blackburn in his first spell at the club, but went to City and didn't perform, went back to Blackburn and was ****e so no to him.
Vladimír Weiss - Looks good from what i've seen of him. Can dribble well and isn't afraid of taking on a player. (Loan deal would be perfect)
Dedryck Boyata - Looks a solid CB but i think City rate him highly, a loan would probably be the best option and if he performs well then bid for him.
Jo - NO!!! He did amazing in Russia and came to England and turned out a complete flop. Didn't do too bad in his first loan spell with Everton 5 in 12.
Given - We have 3 solid GK now and we also have Ole Soderberg waiting in the wings. Enjoyd having Shay here but we've moved on now. Great keeper though!
Aleksandar Kolarov - I think Kolarov is amazing! Wouldn't mind him being placed on the wing, but City don't seem to rate him now. A cheeky bid ?
Micah Richards - He's a City starter now ain't he ? Plus he's English and only 23 i think so i can't see him leaving.
Adam Johnson - As much as i like him, i can't see him leaving and i think he shold be given a lot more game time.
Pablo Zabaleta- No thankyou..

 

That Caicedo looked good when he was with them. Dunno what he's done since.

 

I'd take Weiss, Adam Johnson, Zabaleta, Richards but don't think we'd get any of them, maybe Weiss.

 

He was on loan at Levante last year and scored about 15

 

I'd take all these, providing a decent fee and reasonable wages

 

If they end up with Nasri, one of their wingers will simply have to go, most of them didn't get into the side enough last season as it was
