    Hi guys,

Being a Plymothian Newcastle fan, I'm only now (for my 30th Birthday) getting the opportunity to see my first home game at St James's. It's against Arsenal in March.

My understanding is that Tickets get dripped down via Season Ticket Holders, Members and then General Sale (if there are any left). Obviously, with flights and accomodation already booked, I'm very keen to secure match tickets.

If I become a club member, am I able to purchase two tickets (one for the wife) online? Or do we both need to have membership? This information doesn't seem to be clear on the website!

    Cheers!

I did the same thing for Sunderland game but found I would have to enrol the wife as well when I tried to buy the tickets online so just left her at home!. Didn't have a problem getting a ticket as a member, although did make sure I went online the day they were released to members. Suspect it won't be a problem for the Arsenal game unless we are challenging for a Champions League place by then (so not).

If you sign up for membership that should just about secure you a ticket as long as you go online on the day they are released (box office will advise).
    One other route is Viagogo:

They resell ST holders tickets and for £38+ each you can get a ticket for yourself and your good lady without having to sign up for membership which may end up working out cheaper in the long run.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with membership and just get on the ticket site the day they are released on general sale. You should get 2 tickets in the top tier of the Gallowgate no bother or one of the corners. If the worst came to the worst you would still get seats in the prawn sandwich section anyway as these rarely sell out due to them being more expensive.
