Yes it's all coming back now. I think I've still got the programme somewhere too I'll have to try and dig it out.
Wasn't the smartest choice to put Teardrop in there...and then Julian Cope's microphone packed in too.
Myself and the wife was at the Leeds gig the other night and it was great to see Brian and Roger again we really enjoyed it, for those of you that thought Adam might ruin it he did no such thing, he did not try to emulate Freddie he just did his own thing and hats off to him as trying to follow in Freddies footsteps is no easy task, and any muppet who thinks he can't sing your just not listening.
Agree. It was superb, and he can sing, it's the first Queen gig I've been to without Freddie. My ticket was a birthday present off my brother, who just so happens to like Queen too!! I was very dubious at first, but by the time Queen had belted out Stone Cold Crazy and Lap of the Gods I knew I was witnessing something amazing.
I am not a Queen fan myself but I took my wife to see then at the O2 on Sunday. I was impressed with Adam Lambert I thought his theatrical and camp style was great match for Queen. However it is probably the only rock band he could sing with. I am big Paul Rodgers fan but when I saw him with Queen I did not think it really worked AL was definitely a better Freddie stand in.
