In case anyone hasn't yet got a bill hill account they are offering a free bet upto £25 when you open with them if your horse doesn't win or place in the supreme as a free bet....now I don't know if that's good but it is a totally free bet I believe ;)

Just been looking at Paddy Power's special offers and found this

"Douvan and Un De Sceaux are many people's day one bankers at the Cheltenham Festival, and Paddy Power's two crazy Money-Back Specials means now you can insure your Willie"

Sounds good to me - I might ask for a quote on me bollocks as well <ok>

Ruby Walsh was just on an Irish chat show and said BUSINESS SIVOLA in the Fred Winter had a very good each-way shout at 20/1. I've no idea on it myself now just reporting the info :)

He also said Vautour would win the JLT so given skybet are money-back if the fav wins in that race it's good for those who have him as an insurance policy.

Just to mention that all of the races from this year's festival are now on youtube in full HD quality courtesy of RUK. I use Firefox with a youtube downloader add-on so can download all these videos to my hard drive. Great viewing for July evenings when you are bored of flat racing from Beverley and Bath <ok>

Here's the link to the Gold Cup:

well we have seen four horses make all and win , three on good ground, and one outstanding one on soft today, maybe they all had the courage and fortiitude to do such a thing, but its a rare thing at such a meeting -- really pleased for the bradstocks and co -met them many moons ago at a service station when the then young carruthers had just been beat a nose by a paul nicholls hot pot at uttoxeter -they were thriled with him that day , im sure they will be even more so with their champion today---as for those plumpton officials......im sure that will be the last thing on their minds tonight !
