There will be no need for us to sell Teddy when we get to the Premier League next season! <ok>

Derby have these kinds of stories every transfer for the past 3 years with Will Hughes...

I am sure that the big boys are keeping tabs on Bish (and Mings for that matter) but they will be looking at plenty of players and I can't imagine they would stump up the money required to force our hand in letting him leave.

It will be interesting to see how the young lad copes with the speculation as I would imagine that he'll be here for another couple of transfer windows before we are willing to let him go

Every time our players are linked to another club it always seems to be a 10 million price tag....

Who remembers when a certain Dean Bowditch was meant to be the next Big Thing and just look what happened there....! <doh> The Bish just needs to keep his head down and keep up his high level of performances.

Bowditch was an interesting case. He started 04/05 very well, then with the emergence of Kuqi/ Bent it didn't happen for him. Shoved on loan then the injuries came.

The bish is the player I've been the most excited about since Wickham.

I'd be so annoyed if we sold anyone in January. This is the closest we have come to promotion in about 10 years, why would we even consider cashing in on Mings or Teddy?

I'd like to do what Burnley have done (IF WE GET PROMOTED), keep a squad together for next season with no major big money signings, fight for survival, take the TV money and if we go down we could be financially secure. Plus have those parachute payments to live off.

There no point on cashing in on Teddy and Mings yet, Promotion is a much bigger financial incentive.

I agree, would be great to be debt free, could then even start lowering ticket prices.

Only trouble with this is I think the stats are since the PL has been in existance only 3 teams who have been relegated have gone straight up again!!
