Proved his quality today, this guy is the real deal. Going to be world class soon enough. He showed his understanding of the game today, and his attacking qualities are there for all to see. His speed is also sensational. We need to tie him down to a massive contract.

Unlike Chambers at RB, Bellerin doesn't dive in either. He is so quick that he is able to be relaxed just shielding the player.

I really like the look of him, he's getting more confident with each game. I don't want to get negative on Chambers though because for the first 10 games or so he was sensational. Let's not forget he was dropped in the deep end and over-played. He will be a fantastic player for the club and whilst everyone is saying he's no RB, he had a great time playing there in the EPL for Saints so raspberries to the lot of you! From his physique it does look like he will grow into a CB role but I think he'll be versatile.

Great to have options though isn't it. Factor in a really solid starting RB in Debuchy and even Jenks who's having an awesome season for West Ham and I reckon it's fair to say it's one position we have covered...finally!

Yep wasn't trying to be down on Chambers. I think he's a fantastic young player with a big future at Arsenal. I just think Bellerin will make that RB spot his own in time because he is so mobile and calm under pressure.

Personally I think chambers will become a CB

Chambers will definitely become a centreback - it suits his body type better.

He's only 19 - Im very impressed with Chambers think he's going to be TOP class.

I like Jenks a lot, he's Arsenal through and through.. but I think Bellerin might be the better player already and is 3 years younger than Jenkinson.

Really don't want to lose Jenkinson. He's "one of the lads" and a huge Arsenal fan. I hope he's kept as otherwise in 2 years they'll be looking for another right back as Debuchy ages.

**** no. Him and Bellerin should be our 2 RBs for the future with Chambers converted to CB over time. Debuchy turns 30 in a bit and I imagine that as he loses his pace he might be played more as aux CB (ie Sagna) or sold while the younger duo take the reigns for the battle for RB.

I'm pretty sure he has had enough of sitting on the bench and seems to be loving it at West Ham. He really seems to have become one of the lads in our squad.

Who he supports is irrelevant. It's a job to these boys. Jack Wilshere has claret and blue blood but that doesn't stop him playing for your lot.

Said it on another thread, but would Jenkinson be ahead of Debuchy, Bellerin or Chambers at RB if he came back ?

I love the bloke and he's Arsenal to the core, but surely he will want to be pushing for the starting position ?

I think if Jenkinson hadn't gone out on loan he would possibly be first choice rb now

Bellerin has had very promising games now not just against tat but against Dortmund and City away. He's also got 3 more months unopposed at right back. Debuchy might not even get back in the team ever again.

Bellerin is possibly the most exciting prospect in out team in terms of pace and potential.

Gibbs and Sanchez down the left... pace

Bellerin and Walcott down the right... even more obscene pace

For the first time in a long time that City game has given me hope. If Arsenal crush that small piece of hope then I'll retaliate and crush Arsene's Coq.

That kinda went under the radar for most of us. You bring up a very good point and it's something we need think about before selling Jenks on. He is still very young and still learning the ropes. He is also getting good reviews from a resurgent West Ham, so we shouldn't be so hasty.

He's just turned 30, he ain't dead you f*ckers! We have a habit of losing good players too early and I'm sure Debuchy still has a few more seasons at the top. Certainly long enough for Bellerin to grow into his role but probably too long for CJ to hang about and wait. It would be interesting to see what sort of money he'd fetch once you factor in the young and English tax.
