So you think Wenger's Coq has the girth but not the length for the job?

The Bender brother have both stalled in their development big time. No progress at all. Schneiderlin is currently streets ahead of those two.

Really don't agree. Schneiderlin is massively over - rated.

If he goes to a TOP club he'll end up benched. I guarantee it.

Benched by whom? At Chelsea, maybe. He is better than Arteta,Flamini,Coquelin,Blind and Fernando. He has been a consistent performer for Southampton for three years now and has developed this season into a stellar player. Wenger is after him for a reason.

Also, have you even watched Lars or Sven Bender this season? Sven has ben dogshite, and Lars has shown zero progress. Kramer has superseded both.

Yeah - I have. All of Dortmund have been ****e.(unfortunately as I do like them as a team)
They urgently miss having target man up top. The current system does'nt work and the team has lost it's confidence.

In regards to Lars he's been very good. They are currently 3rd in the league and Lars is pretty much the main man in midfield for Leverkusen.

He has not developed at all, though. And a few season's ago, he admitted that he was not ready to move to a bigger club, so for me nothing has changed and if anything his stock within the German national team has fallen. Schneiderlin has developed and he is already playing in the PL, so needs no time to adapt to a new country and a new league, compared to Bender.

It's probably best you don't get all your information from Wikipedia Cini.

He was injured for a while but has 19 apps this Season.

Guardian reporting that we have entered contract negotiations with Le Coq. With Arteta's legs gone, Flamini most likely being off and Bielik being not ready yet its essential we tie him down to a new deal (who'd have imagined we'd be saying this a couple of weeks ago <laugh>)

Wow... I am surprised anyone thinks Schneiderlin is overrated. I think he is up there with Matic in the EPL. He is very intelligent. He does his job quietly and effectively. Clean in the tackle, great aerially, averages 90% pass rate. He can play as a pure DM and also box to box. He is decent going forward. Knows the EPL well. He's got everything we need. For me he should be the primary target!!

Sign up Le Coq and bring in a proper ready to go DM. Le Coq has done well for a few games but the proof in the pudding is over a whole season. We are close to having a complete team so we need to go and get that DM now than rue over it next season.

i think yes. a player doesn't put in a performance like coquelin did against city just by pure luck. his play was superb in the role he was given, so if he can do it against the champions of england away from home then why could he not do it all the time? he is just 23 years of age too. he is only going to get better.

This is what he needs to do. To be a serious contender for our DM spot, he has to perform at a consistent basis for the rest of the season. No point in a few good matches and the rest being poor/ We need a quality operator protecting our back for and giving support to our class up top. No point having great legs and pecks and biceps when your midriff is like a mountain of wobbly jelly.
