    As long as Senegal don't rush him back and makes things worse so that he comes back early but out for a longer period

    Heard on Talksport that Sam Allardyce said the Senegalese had representatives over here looking at the scans of WHU injured Senegal international (can't remember who). Would of thought they would be doing the same with Mane?

    Agree. Should miss the punishing group game schedule at least. And should mean we'll only miss him for an extra two weeks more than we would have anyway because of his injury. That's the optimist's view, anyway. Hopefully he won't be rushed back into the tournament and come back more injured.

    Even if he is back in 2 weeks and doesn't go to ACON under FIFA rules he cannot play for Saints until either Senegal are knocked out or the competition is over.

    Mane named in Senegal squad. Manager has said he will take the risk of him not being available...obviously very important to them. Let's hope they don't risk him if not fit.

    Who was the player that stayed home from ACON injured but started for his club on Saturday? I heard Jeff Stelling telling the story but missed the player's name. Wouldn't the same apply there or is that different because he wasn't named in the squad?
