why did he appeal in the first place .... he should have just stayed away until end of March or what ever it was.... also taking on FL not good idea he may win the odd argument....but eventually they will rag u ... that,s whats happened... in Italy he could buy judges etc etc different game here... he better learn fast... just the way he underestimated the Championship

I would think the FL have taken all the legal advice possible before going down the route they have taken. The Italian legal system appears full of appeals and seems to take years to complete any final decisions of guilt.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch .................. ???

    Sums up my feelings exactly.

Most people assume that he'll keep control in the family. I have a funny feeling that Salerno might be the boy to pick up a fair bit of responsibiity. I really cant imagine his sons in front of the cameras.

Right or wrong Cellino needs to stay well clear, not antagonise them and wait patiently until the 10th April. The FL will be watching us like hawks, just one suggestion that he is in charge and I wouldn't even want to imagine what the punishment would be.

"We consider that the judge's findings of fact and her description of Mr Cellino's state of mind based on them, is of conduct which would reasonably be considered to be dishonest." This is from the Football leagues statement, I find it bizarre to say the least. Are they now a saying they can decide what is an is not law? I would imagine that Cellino would be able to take this higher to say the European court of law. I don't know enough to say where the next step up for him would be just that given he has not been tried in the UK that he would be able to contest the decision. All in all what a waste of the football league's money.

I for one will be waiting for his return.

Hoping we keep Sharp and get another target man,

Interesting. I assumed that e would launch an appeal through the Court of Arbiratio for Sport in Swizerland. Not a cheep so far, but it is the next logical step if you'e going to appeal. Not sure what the timetable is for it, but even if he lost again, and it shunted the ban towards or even covering the close season, it would be a bonus for us, surely?

Was just wondering what this ban entails. Does it only prevent him being a Director or owner for a short period? If so, could the board appoint him as Manager during this period, as we currently have a vacancy?

Evening WJ, what's more worrying is the final part of the FLs statement. "In addition, a further misconduct charge against Mr. Cellino and the Club for failing to supply the Italian Court judgment to The Football League when it first became available will be heard by a Football Disciplinary Commission in line with League regulations in due course".

The football league has always had it in for leeds utd ever since don revie turned his back on those ****ers and left the england managers job and took up the UAE managers job , the football league did not like the fact that revie did not inform them he was resigning. so here we are 40 years later and still got tossers in the league getting their revenge. I say lets all get behind redfearn no matter what we all think of him and get behind leeds to show those tossers in the league and put 2 fingers up at them, and make them know they wont break leeds and instead of relegation lets attack and go for promotion through the play offs.!!!

He needs to sell up and go.. There are two more cases coming and he is no use to us while banned. more importantly he is dishonest and he shouldn't have keys to the sweeti3e jar at E/R.
Cellino is a crook and if not kicked will be being a crook with LUFC. Why are so many not spotting the obvious....

the ban says cellino cannot have any connection with the club , so that means he cannot be the manager, but maybe he can come through the turnstiles like other fans and i would not put that past him in fact it would be a good idea as it might motivate the leeds utd players if he is identified at games and present in the ground which he would be !!

Bottom line, Cellino was found guilty of fraud, and has another case against him on the way ... what's fcuked up is that the FL only ban him for a period of time, not for life or at least ten years ... the danger now is that GFH take over decision making, which is why the "insolvency" statement was made ... Cellino clearly won't be putting money in to pay bills while he is banned, so that's an issue as well ... let's see, but if as expected he is found guilty of a second offence in Italy then its bye bye Massimo

some crooks get rehabilitated and he will have served his sentance in april if we were all like you they would not have a chance to show they are on the right path , which i beleive cellino is and should be given every chance to show it , and in my opinion he has put millions into leeds only to get kicked in the teeth by the football leagues revenge vendeta put it this way if it was man utd it would be swept under the carpet , did"nt alex fergeson elect to have his son as agent for certain players when his son was involved with another club ? yeh its ok for them but if its leeds oh yes lets throw the book at leeds thats the leagues point of view !!!!!!!!!!!!
