2014-15 Season Progress

Got to be happy with that considering how our seasons gone so far...

 

4-5 points off fourth with the top four challengers still to play, can't really complain as like you said, we've been shocking. Seem to have turned a corner and found a system which works for us, tougher tests around the corner but the last 6 matches gives me plenty of optimism.

 

6/12 so far.... I feel as though west ham coming to anfield right after cup games can be a defining game now

If we can turn over west ham (who I felt destroyed us first game) the we will be a different outfit. Again it's playing 11 men who can match the opposition for work rate

All in all... Perfect block of 4 so far and that's with two away wins!!!! Add in clean sheets and that's more than anyone would have expected even though it was against weak outfits... We were that poor before

60 points trend now do that's up each away game too... Win next 2 and that'll be close to magic 70


Also special word for utd fans if astro. Congratulations, you are safe from relegation

The interesting thing about this table for me is that everyone in the top 6 in form are one result from each other while utd have been worst with a bad little spell which is why I suppose they are only 4th and it's all closed up again

Really it shows nobody from 3rd to 8th is out of this race yet. It's interesting to see west ham don't feature

 

Another simplistic look tbh. Only upset with dropping 3 points out of those games. 2 points against Villa and a point against Saints. Other than that I'd take the other results given the opposition.

Good result today for Livpl and a nice run. Agree though, the next 4 will be telling. Set of tricky league fixtures coming up.

LFC have played teams i nthe bottom half or midtbale since we played utd and arsenal and now we will get out comeuppances... he hopes...

When all things are considered, this weekend has not been very good for us, we are still 5 points from fourth (6 if GD is considered ) and our position is still the same at 8th. And we have one match less to play.

We have some of big guns to play- which may or may not be a good thing. We could get top 4 but we need to hope for most of the teams ahead of us to go on a poor run:

History says the small clubs like Southampton fall away, spurs implode and arsenal fall apart in February... What you worried about???

In terms of where we all want the club to be though, how is eighth in the middle of January acceptable?? It's just not.

 

No it's not, but a short time ago some people were saying sack Rodgers and all are signings are crap. The #bitters were laughing we might get relegated and were calling our manager a #fraud. Now we're 2nd in the form table, about to play a semi-final, and only half our signings are crap. #progress

Hmmm , 17 points off top, 16 off relegation, joint second in the form table over 10 games, Brendan 12 points down on Suarez team. Looks like a fraud to me

 

Hhhmmmmm unlike you lot too express such fears, you need uir to help you get your arrogance back in train here... Remember, if not for something obtuse the title was yours this season
