yes.. But that's not my point.. I'd like to hear how you come up with your quotes from Harry's Dad or Harry for that matter?
Your last post said you know different, so which is it? You know them both so well, your a City fan and you havent asked why he left? hmm
See I'm not sure they have (or all of them have). There's one who I've come across on a professional level, who is still involved in the set up now, who is incredibly unreliable with communication and described (by coaches who work under him who I know on a personal level) as "bone idle". Due to my experiences, they missed out on a very good goalkeeper (which they are now short of in that age bracket).
Just an idea but wouldn't city benefit from providing link ups with good local grassroots clubs, pretty much like hull united have done with east hull saints who have a large number of youth teams, theres plenty of clubs across the city , hessle sporting, AFC tickton, withernsea, pelican, springhead the list goes on that have multiple teams at all age groups and a large pool of local talent, seen loads of talented kids lately in the under 8's/9's leagues alone that will probably never get an eye casted over them from a scout
Well i can tell you that Dan James left because Swansea offered him a better deal. Not just money wise, but they gave him decent accommodation and mapped out exactly where he was heading first team wise. He'd met with TP and SB and both had requested he stay, but Danny wanted the opportunity to play elsewhere. Sometimes there's literally nothing you can do.
Absolutely. And the thing is, those sorts of teams (and schools) would probably volunteer themselves for such a link and do a lot of the work.
That is already in place.. They have forged links with a number of grassroots clubs and are offering free coaching sessions arranging games ect.. The biggest problem they face is the coaches not wanting to lose there best players.
Any idea which clubs have forged links with city? I'm pretty sure most coaches wouldn't stand in the way of a player furthering themselfs
and to be fair, the club are currently recruiting a number of youth scouts. I thought the club had done more than it appears to have on this front, but at least improvements are being made. Crickey, something at least that's going in the right direction?!
And looked a very good player, albeit against a (by that time) utterly demoralised Notts County team.
Cardwell's made 12 appearances for Grimsby this season, but only one of them was actually a league start, they're having a **** time at the moment and I doubt he fancies risking a young kid in the starting XI.
I had the same experience with my stepson.the set up was embarrassng and Scunthorpe made them look very poor indeed
