Arsenal are getting the players back and Coquelin has been a bonus. He was recalled I think because of injuries and sometimes it takes a thing like that for the team to click.when you think Wenger had options to bring Ozil and Walcott on if the game was close (it wasn't) it just shows how good Arsenals squad is.

If we'd played Ozil in the game we would not have won this match simples. He never tracks back, ever.

If Arsenal were losing he would have been option to bring on that was the point i was making. Lots of options depending on how the game is going. You are also wrong about Ozil tracking back because he does it a lot in games.

    Totally disagree with this.

Plus it's an awesome day to be a gooner, no need to bad talk our players!

Not seen the game, but just read the reports. Kudos to AW and the lads. Just when you thought, you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, Wenger goes and does that!

Credit where credit is due. Great team performance - big props to Coquelin for his continual organisation throughout the game, and to Cazorla, who has really come into his own this season. Tactics worked exceptionally well too :) Impressive. Lot of happy Gooners today.

Just watched a recording of the game (working today ).Wow what a performance,a proper big game away performance, has the boss finally seen the light.I could hardly believe what I was seeing,a very tactical disciplined performance.Hopefully the penny has finally dropped.

I loved that not only was Coq great defensively and keeping the shape/discipline of the side, but that Cazorla was too - he worked his socks off defensively (especially for such a small, creative player) and made sure there was always a body back, nicking the ball then keeping hold of it.

it certainly wasn't Le Arsenal Way today, solid defending and team work, winning a game with 35% possession is almost [dare i say it] like how Chavski or United play against us at the Emirates, when we have 65% possession and don't win

The two areas that Wenger gets criticised the most was the two areas that were spot on today. Wenger got his tactics spot on and Coqs had a blinder as our DM. Great result today, we really stayed disciplined and worked hard as a whole team unit. What this result highlights is that when we get things right, we can beat the best in the league with the players we have.

Let's hope this results wasn't a one off and that we can lean from this and push on to bigger and better things. <ok>

If it wasn't for injuries to other players Coq would still be on loan at Charlton.

Thanks for his return! But for me it was Wenger's strategy that was spot on, even to his substitutions. He came to get a result and make sure we got those 3 points by bringing on defensive sub's Gibbs and Flamini. Happy when he did that.
