Brucey's mentioned they've tried Maguire up front. Thats really ****ing desperate and shows how little he thinks of Sagbo, with good reason mind. I cant see him starting with him up front but i've no problem with sticking a CB up front for the the last 15 minutes when chasing a game.
I'm usually positive about us but if its Ramirez and Aluko or Brady and Ince up top then I've got a feeling we'll get a stuffing. **** me I'm talking myself into putting Maguire up top!!! <laugh>
I'll be taking bets on which one of Ramirez or Aluko comes off injured first if its those two.
Nah he's got to play Sagbo, hasnt he??

Think Dawson should be back in to deal with Carroll too. Bruce and Chester just arent big enough to handle his threat.

    Greegsy
    Chester Dawson Davies
    Elmo Figgy
    Livermore Hudd Meyler

    Quinn
    Sagbo

Key match stats (supplied by Opta)

West Ham have won five and lost just one of the last eight league meetings with Hull City.

Hull have cleared seven shots off the line in the Premier League this season, more than any other side.

The Hammers have won the last five home games in a row against the Tigers.

West Ham have lost just one of their last nine Premier League home matches (W6 D2 L1).

Sam Allardyce’s side have scored the most headed goals in the Premier League this season (14).

Only Aston Villa (56) have fired in fewer shots on target this season than Hull City (61).

Stewart Downing has been involved in as many Premier League goals this season (11 – four goals and seven assists) as he managed in his previous three campaigns combined.

Sam Allardyce’s side have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight Premier League matches, but they have also only failed to score once during this run.

The Hammers have won just one of their last six Premier League games, drawing three and losing two.

Hull have conceded eight goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches, more than any other team.

He's signed for a Turkish club.

Is it a tax fiddle or summat signing for a Turkish club. It never works out and they never stay.

    Not a fiddle but attractive..

I quote Hurriyet (Turkish national paper)

"Footballers playing in the Turkish Super League pay 15 percent in income tax. The income tax rate drops to 10 percent for those who play in the first league and 5 percent for the rest.

The income tax rate for footballers playing in the English premier league is 50 percent, and the figure drops to 45 percent in Germany, 43 percent in Spain and Italy, 40 percent in France, and 30 percent in the Netherlands.

All of this makes Turkey something of a tax haven for foreign football players, as they also hold the same rights as all local players after six months, in terms of taxation."

If he had any aspirations of using MaGuire up front then he should have done it for the final ten last week.

I feel less optimistic about this game then any since the dismal, drear days of Dowie.

A point would be an unlikely and very pleasant little present.

Aren't West Ham yet to win in the league in 2015?

    Me too Ern, me too.

If we win this game I'll show my bare arse in Hammonds window.

I wouldn't really be prepared to do that if we drew but I'd stand there in just me kegs.

    For 3 hours.

This is one of those games that I'm not really looking forward to going to - but then this is Hull City, so you just never know!! On paper the best we can hope for is a 0-0 draw because we know we won't score....don't we?

I can only see defeat. We'll concede in less than 5 minutes probably.

Which is more recent - our last win at Upton Park or tigerpants54's last post without an exclamation mark in it?

Maybe it's time for the other side of #typicaltigers, sorry I mean #typicalcity to come out, and see us with a 3-0 victory.

Is that a trick question due to neither of them existing?
