The council bought it for £750,000 for use as a community facility. By a happy coincidence this was the amount FC were in debt and enabled them to move to the KC debt free. And a lot more than the £350,000 that would have bought both the team and the stadium nit long before.

Adam Pearson and new stadiums no longer fit into the same sentence.

AP has shown an interest in Bob Carver's according to Jimmy the shoe shine boy. <laugh>

It's impossible to talk sensibly about future attendances without taking into account prices.

Yes but some people think that not having a larger stadium holds us back despite the fact that we don't fill it now. Other clubs charge the same or higher and sell out. In fact forba lot of games you can watch City in the PL for less than some Championship games. Bigger capacities are no guarantee of lower admissions, look at Man u and Arsenal and now Liverpool after their increase in capacity is finished.

If we want to have large attendances we can reduce prices and give tickets away to children. The reduced prices can result in more spent on food, drink and merchandise. Giving tickets away to children can result in gaining long term fans.

We shouldn't try to compare attendances with other clubs too much because historical reasons can play a big factor. We can still learn from what other clubs are doing to increase attendances though.

In the 60s City got fantastic attendances and travelling support but it's different now. Maybe it's the obstacles all clubs put in the way of people who want to attend and there is more football on TV and other activities available.

I've heard this, and that solicitors are looking for land for a new stadium.

On Sportstalk tonight with G have your say on no pay at the turnstile walk up at Hull FC games this season at the KC Stadium #hullfc #hfc

Apparently 1,000 normally pay on the gate. why are they are not allowing it next season?

Supposedly because of the cost of paying Allam for staff to man pay turnstiles. I have heard you will still be able to pay on the day but will have to go to FC/Ticket Office & then go use unmanned turnstiles

I wouldn't believe a word of what that bloke says - he claims to be 'in the know' but knows knack all.

There will be cash turnstiles for Sunday's Derby game, but after that no more. They're basically doing what they've done for City for rugby in removing all turnstile operators, but as has been said already walk ups for rugby games are much higher than football for a number of reasons.

FC have started selling tickets in all of their shops and have the TryPod at St Stephen's as well as the ticket office, but until people get used to it I think crowds are going to drop because of it.

It stops all the guess the crowd antics. Also do not FC base their rent on the size of the crowd?
Also in my experience, where there's cash there is a fiddle.

I've seen him post all sorts of things on Twitter over the last couple of years, and most have been wrong or a wind up.

If you said to Hull that they could move out tomorrow then I'm sure they'd take it - especially with the latest developments over the last few days, but to say it is definitely happening I think is probably wrong.
