    So, to summarise for people new to this thread:

    Liverpool lost the best striker in the league, the 2nd best striker in the league, signed a couple of crap strikers and a crap defender, and are still 10 points and +6 GD ahead of Everton.

    Fair enough?

    Didn't his only goal for liverpool come in the EL? so the beachball has contributed more to winning league points than borini #ohmydays

    He can't get a game ahead of Lambert and Mario....both are hardly settign the world on fire. So how/who would he replace?

    He has few league goals than Eto'o, Kone and Naismith

    Even though he's been out injured for a year and barely had a kick, he's still scored more league goals for us this term than Borini has for you since his return.......

    ....and more than Mario

    ......and more than Lambert

    yeah, he had his one good season. looking back he has a similar strike rate as Lukaku...the difference being Lukaku never misses large parts of the season with biscuuit legs<ok>
