Don't quite what to think about this. Is Kenwyne advising Slade now?........ http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-take-genk-midfielder-8430463
Wiki on Hyland: - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khaleem_Hyland Not particularly impressive and work permit problems when Pompey wanted to sign him. However, as a freebie worth a look on a try before you make any commitment.
A better team would have bombarded Moore with shots and crosses with 63% possession. The next 3 opponents will do just that and if we get 1 point that would be one more than I expect. City will continue to struggle with their present inability to gain possession, and retain possession. City need a 'dog' in central midfield to hound the opposition for 90 minutes. City also need a rampaging midfield player a la Mutch; Adeyami is just not what was said to be on the tin. Saturday merely papered over the huge cracks in this City side. Major surgery is required in the middle of the field and up top.

How about Gunnar to Burnley. Can't see it myself: http://www.burnley.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=384319
Really? However bad we are in the centre of the pitch losing our 'best' out and out central midfielder would be a huge step backwards. I think it is very unlikely we'd get someone better. Strange to see them say Dorrans is the other option the 2 are hardly similar players.
I dont understand why people dislike Gunnar in the side, he can break things up, gives 100% we score goals off his throw ins, all i can say is i hope he stays.
I don't dislike him in the side but the pairing of him and Whitts in the center of midefield is disastrous. So slow and can't tackle - just stand off and watch the player advance. Brentford, Bourenmouth and Watford passed rings around them.
Gunnar is the best we've got at what he does - the long throw ins are also a real bonus. I would hang on to him like grim death. I said before the start of the season on here that Gunnar could be a star for us back in the Championship this year. Funny thing is that if Dikgacoi had worked out, Gunnar would have probably struggled to get in the side. Maybe Dikgacoi's problems have been a blessing in disguise eh?
Very much a backward step if Gunnar was allowed to leave unless there is a ready made and better replacement. Surely he is the type of player Slade likes? Anyone know when his contract is up? That could have a bearing on the matter.
That's Whits fault though. You could put mascherano next to him and they'd get overrun by 3 decent championship midfielders.
I like Gunnar think he works hard and breaks up play. I see him like Medal playing in that role. The problem is that Whitts isn't a defensive midfielder. Gunnar needs someone else along side him which would allow Whitts to get forward more. Like a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Exactly. We did drop into that setup 2nd half v Fulham so I'm hopeful Slade sees it as the way forward too.
Another one off the payroll but not Gunnar. It was always going to happen - Slade has made it clear who he wants and who he doesn't. http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/article/loan-move-guerra-to-malaga-2203951.aspx
I'm with you on that Blue, as you say it had to be worth letting him have 4 or 5 of Alf's starts. It's nothing more than a guess but I think he completely burnt his bridges with Young in the league cup game (he was piss poor and totally disinterested that day).
Haha, somehow got Young to Johnson. I think I'll take the dull hat on that one.....! I'll edit it now!
