Reports suggest that he has been pushed down the pecking order by the arrival of Gerry Francis. Jewell taking legal advice now.
I heard that Jewell was told he had to take a wage cut so the club could accommodate Francis. Words was exchanged and Jewell was kicked out
Am I missing something? He was only hired a week before and they demanded a wage cut? Is someone over there on drugs?
Saw an interview with Pulis as soon as he got the job and he said then Gerry francis was coming in part time. Maybe he realised Jewells a useless **** and wanted Francis full time
On the subject of Gerry... Without his hair he would be nothing. So he keeps his hair. Makes him important.
Apparently, a verbal agreement was made for Jewells services. Jewell basically worked the first week to help out after whatever deal was supposingly sealed with a handshake and the paperwork was being sorted out. West Brom then went back on that handshake and decided that they wanted to change the details of the agreement. This included cutting his wages so they could apparently bring in Francis. That is why Jewell has kicked off and walked out. All that info is off a baggies lad I know off another forum
Aye, just about to post this - just popped up on News Now that he 'may be' coming to join us - I hope not!
It hasn't popped up he is coming to join us. If you read it it says he could be. So could my Mum. He may end up here but it isn't what the paper says. "Tony Pulis has been left fuming by an embarrassing cash row with Paul Jewell who has quit West Brom... and may now join their relegation-battle rivals Hull. " It's the May bit that tells you it's speculative.
An article has popped up. Speculative or not there's no smoke without fire. It's not like he's a player and linking to other clubs will flush out better offers (Defoe) nothing is to be gained by linking him to us - he's out of work and not really in demand. I think there's probably mileage in it.
There is everything to link him with us as a journalist trying to spice u a story with some context... It makes it read so much better that he could come back to haunt them. We may we'll take him but that story has nothing to do with the writer knowing anything factual. So I disagree on your premise completely.
Much ado about nothing; there's a possibility he will come to us, as there is he won't. It sounds like Pulis has problems working out a budget; or more probably, he presumed he had the standing to stretch it.
It had to happen eventually ^^^^^^ this. What does your therapist make of your recent progress then ?
