Clutching at straws really, if a PL player can't recover in 4 & half days there's something wrong. Too many people bleating about relegation rivals winning aswell for me, we just need to stop relying on everyone else being **** and prove we deserve to stay in this division by playing well ourselves (something we've failed to do for the vast majority of the season).
Agreed, and stop bleating about injuries, suspension, opponents, officials, luck and just let the manager live or die on his own merits.
Yeah, we can play the 'woe is me' sob story card all the way into the championship but i'd prefer us to just roll our sleeves up and have a ****ing go like Burnley are doing. Strikers aside we'll still be putting out a 'strong' team at West Ham so i'd rather we didn't make excuses for playing **** (again).
