For any of you lot travelling into Ipswich tonight on the A12, be aware that the last few miles are covered by average speed cameras at a 40mph limit. Have a safe journey.
Had we lost to Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd we would be in 8th position on 32 points. Man U would be 3rd on 40 points and Arsenal 4th on 39. Top 4 dreams woud have gone and Ron would have played the best 11 - as it stands I think he'll play a far weaker team than expected.
It doesn't ever quite come across the same at St Marys as it did at the Dell. Whether its because the lights are so much better now or just that I was younger then I don't know.
I'm in with the home fans for this one (it's near my Uni). So a quiet 1-0 win would be brilliant as I'm one of those twats who berates the ref and players 24/7 (despite obviously knowing less about football than any of them). A penalty shoot out in the wrong end would be TRUE agony.
The problem is at St Mary's now, that those LED lights are so bright that I get arc eye every time I look at the scoreboard...thank god we played Sunderland before the clocks changed
Due to the lights at St Marys this season, I'm thinking of getting a pair of those glasses Edgar Davids wears.
So what's the formation? Clyne - Fonte - Gardos - Targett Wanyama - Reed Tadić - JWP - Bertrand Long Clyne - Fonte - Gardos - Targett JWP - Wanyama - Reed- Bertrand Tadić Long
Really surprised that we aren't giving McCarthy a start here...for god's sake no injuries/red cards, Fonte and Gardos.
