Brook at 7/4 in the first. Don't rate the jolly and this one was fancied to beat Karazek and Golden Doyen on debut!!!
Morning all, a small investment on Venetia's bottom weight Citizenship 10s in the 1.45 at Newbury. Competitive little 4 runner affair but can't see why this one can't be involved getting a stone and plenty from the top 2 in the market and 7lb from the other one who had a similar rating over hurdles. Formerly a winner of a valuable handicap over hurdles Citizenship had a win in the bag but for a mistake at the last obstacle on his first try over fences. Far West managed to make Deputy Dan look good earlier in the season which is a pretty rare feat so not sure there's much improvement to come from him. Top Gamble has been impressive so far this season and looks the danger but at the prices I'll have a little sporting go on my selection. Good luck all.

Thrown a sicky today so might as well watch the mudbath at Newbury Anyone been following the Racing Post's "Stunning Moments" series? Some great memories in there .........................
I think the first might throw up a surprise so a little dabble on Shimba Hills - winning form on soft on the flat and not a bad 2nd on hurdles debut
Yep was reading it today oddy, great read.the barney curley coup and the shergar affair shouldnt be far off the top
It's all a little mad at Lingfield today as PourLa Victoire and Welease Bwian both need 6f but were well backed this morning to win over 5f, whilst in this upcoming race Spowtacus has been backed like it's unbeatable, but in my view needs 5f. He may last out today as the competition is not great but he is a go from the gates horse and 6f will always stretch them. I have not backed anything but Bookmaker at 6-1 is a much better bet than 5-4 Spowtacus
Sprinter Sacre out to 2/1 for the Clarence House, yet the course is good to soft with the only rain forecast before the race being tonight...The bookies are usually correct but I hope they're wrong on this occasion.
