Anyone wondering about Jack Cork's situation: http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-and-ready-to-take-chance-after-six-weeks-out Would love him at the club, but I doubt Southampton would let him go.
He knows the Premier League very well, from his time warming benches up, perfect view. If we even approach Kevin Doyle I will run onto the pitch against Newcastle, throw my pass at Steve Bruce, and then go buy a Hull United season pass. However I will have to suggest to the guy who owns the club to change the name from "Hull United" to "Hull Tigers" before Allam does as it is the best idea anyone has ever had.
Seen as though we have not got any one with a bit of height who can hold the ball up for at least the next four to six weeks then with out us having to over spend or get some one in on loan then looking at who is available its not great. Players such has Walters, Fletcher, would may be go well alongside some one like Ravel Morrison or Scott Sinclair. The problem for us i am afraid is of all the premier league teams we because of our injuries have been left with the worst strike force, in other words we are pretty desperate.
These transfer rumours get more depressing by the day. Ravel Morrison?? overrated little **** who Fergie got shot of because he was a completely unmanageable twat. Kevin Doyle?? Makes even Torres' fall from goalscoring grace pale in comparison...I didn't realise we had already been relegated.
@SportsPeteO: Wigan forward Shaun Maloney set for talks with Leicester after two clubs agree fee of £750,000. #lcfc #wafc
The problem a club like us has regarding strikers is that we go out and get 3 in for 25 million pounds and then for one reason or another between them they hardly play so after that the rest are not good enough why, simply because most bottom half premier league clubs cannot afford to have 5/6 million pound strikers on the bench this is one of the reasons why the so called smaller clubs are constantly involved with a relegation battle. The first 8/9 games we had a decent team out and performed very well but then injuries started and we began to suffer so what now well SB knows he has to strengthen or we will go down but what a position to be in firstly the lad from Arsenal goes tp palace (London club), Defoe, another one he is interested could be to expensive or a number of clubs are after his services so it looks has though it will be difficult to get him. We have all mentioned players on here ie, Morrison, Fletcher ,Sinclair, Walters, players from abroad, players from the lower leagues, players who have a mediocre scoring record well yes i am afraid that in the January transfer window unless you have millions to spend then it is going to be a massive struggle to get in a forward (or two) who we are all going to be happy with. Lets be honest the position we are in then it must be hard to attract players to come here, they are either going to be young but not made it at there own club or more experienced but not good enough to get in the team they are at now other than that we go out and spend millions on a proven striker which i doubt. Lets hope SB has a magic wand and brings in someone or a couple who will make the difference.
Ravel Morrison would be a great signing, and would fit in with the squad, the like of Huddlestone,Livermore and Davies will sort out his ego!
How would he be a 'great' signing? Has he proved a 'great' signing anywhere else? Has he done more in his career than Ince for example?
