Agree about him though, think he'd be a top defender in the Prem, a proper no nonsense hard man as it were
Think he may be on a free this summer actually too! His age though would be the sticking point with FSG and BR plus having let's see Skrtel, Lovren, Sakho, Coates, Illori, and I guess throw in Can as CB's.
Really gutted about Suso!!! All on here know my affinity for him, real shame we didn't at least give him a real chance and string of games, damn shame actually.
In Januray you either sign a player from a top club who isn't get enough game time like Sturridge and Coutinho and a good player performing well this season. Juve won't sell Pogba, Tevez or any starting 11 player in January. We should go for Khadira/Pedro/Cabaye
I'd take Cabaye. They paid £17m for him but hardly getting any game time. Rumours PSG were interested in Balotelli, would be happy for a straight swap.
Googled it and lots of links to him and Buffon signing new contracts. Would be mad to lose him on a free and he's only 30 so still a good 3 years or so left in him.
Khedira would be awesome but can see him going to Arsenal or Chelsea even. Pedro yes! Cabaye could be good but would prefer that DM at this point or someone who can do that role as well as the box to box stuff........ or just play ****ing Emre Can there. One of the Bender bros would be fantastic.
Officially confirmed then... Liverpool Football Club can confirm Oussama Assaidi has left on a permanent transfer to join Al Ahli Club. The Moroccan winger ended a loan spell with Stoke City early in order to complete the switch to Dubai. Assaidi moved to Anfield from Heerenveen in the summer of 2012 and made 12 appearances for the Reds. The 26-year-old originally joined Stoke on a season-long loan deal in September 2013 and returned to the Britannia Stadium at the start of the current campaign before signing for Al Ahli. please log in to view this image
Good luck to him,his 'Assman' nametag has offered a rich vein of amusement to one and all Any idea of the transfer fee?
Problem with Suso was he could only really play 1 position which was that number 10 role, and the competition for place with Stelring/Coutinho and even Lallana being able to play there meant he just wasn't as good an option as them
Some poker rounds play themselves and this was one of them. Suso was never going to sign a new contract without game time and Rodgers couldnt offer him the game time. Shame he was injured at the wrong time as with the way we were playing i think he would have had his shot to make a serious claim for game time. I look forward to see him become a quality player for Milan
Yup, think Italian league might suit him. Bit less physical and slower giving him more time on the ball to play his passes. Will watch on and hope he succeeds over the next few years that's for sure.
