Neptune: Backed Tell us More at 25s, 20s and 18s for this and despite running green LTO and getting picked up by his stablemate this is a proper horse and better ground will suit - good EW bet IMO.
RSA: This is Don Poli's to lose if he runs here, best novice jumper out there and loves Chelts hill!! Gold Cup horse maybe of the future!!
QMCC: Sprinter could leave them for dead if Hendo hasn't 'lost' another excellent horse!!!
    Bumper: Mullins but which one?
JLT: another race I excel in and Apache Stronghold is one I like very much and am on at 25s and 20s.
Pertemps: Backed Sybarite EW at 25s as I think Twisters could have this laid out (like many others!).

Ryanair: Dynaste all the way for me at 8s and in Doubles and Trebles.
Stayers: my fav race and not just because I win most years and this year I am on More of That at 6s and Zarkandar EW at 20s, I have also taken 14s (win only) Rock on Ruby purely as I love the bravery of the horse and would love him to win!
Triumph: I have backed Kalkir EW at 16s and Peace and Co at 8s single and D&T, another banker IMO.
Albert:No More Heroes for me but will back an outsider from Ireland on the day also.
Gold Cup: Another awesome race for me but this year I am stuck as I like a few! I backed Holywell EW at 50s but only to £25 EW which now annoys me as Jonjo will have him primed and should his jumping hold out he must go close, my heart says Conti who has won me fortunes and I'm on at 12s and 8s but my main bet is Lord Windermere from the genius of Cheltenham Jim Cullotys yard.
Foxhunters: Saving the best for last, I am on Oscar Barton at 10s and 8s and this one will jump em ragged - banker of the meeting IMO.
Mullins top trainer easily is a great bet - Good Luck one and all

Im still not convinced by the front 2 in the Supreme albeit mainly due to the prices as they have done all thats asked of them so far. Urubu D'Irlande beat Gaitway with both of them coming miles clear from the 3rd who has won since. The front 2 havent been seen since(perhaps waiting for better ground). He will get further than this and ran well when not expected to on seasonal debut and should improve a ton, hopefully see him out in the next month.

I really like Mc manus Alvisio Ville , I think emerging talent was still going as well as lami serge so that form Is under a question. Douvan could be a machine but the horse he beat into second is being laid out for a handicap at Cheltenham.

Narrowing it down to two selections per race, I'm quite happy with the following if the festival were run tomorrow:

-JLT: APACHE STRONGHOLD & RULE THE WORLD

    RSA: DON POLI & CONEYGREE

GOLD CUP: MANY CLOUDS & SMAD PLACE

    -CHAMPION HURDLE:
    JEZKI & THE NEW ONE

WORLD HURDLE: MORE OF THAT & MONKSLAND

They are the only ones I can say I feel quite hopeful on and with a clear line of sight. The rest of the festival is quite a muddle.

I'll be doing my playing on the day by large, although I may put a few silly multiples/combos from this group of horses.

I prefer Apache for RSA but Meade was disappointed he didnt win over Christmas. I think he bumped into a right stayer in Don Poli and spring ground at Cheltenham will suit Apache regardless of whether its 2 and a half or 3 miles.

Apache is entered for Irish Arkle as well..worryingly!

Seen that he was entered . Maybe his strong travelling style suits the JLT . I DID think the ground went against him for the topaz though

    http://www.attheraces.com/article.a...39; Hurdle 'likely' for Annie&day=Wed

And the most predictable story of 2015 and a disappointment to any true sporting fan, is that Annie Power will mop up the Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham in what will be perhaps the most pointless, useless waste of a horses career that there ever can be.

She is Champion Hurdle, World Hurdle, Arkle, and JLT class. What the actual **** is Mullins about? He is nothing more than a spread your eggs in plenty of baskets and win as many easy prizes as you can kinda guy.

That's not racing in my eyes. You have to dream big, surely. I don't care what a genius he is and all the cobblers that comes with it. Annie Power is too good for a Mares race and shame on him for ending any spectacle and buzz that a true, world class mare like her could have created.

It is disappointing primarily because I can't see anything that would run better in the World Hurdle than Annie Power probably would for that yard Having said that, I like free money.

I think Quevegas popularity is much the same- punters friend rather than an animal that achieved highest level accolades.

Annie Power is better than Quevega IMO and could make a serious racehorse. There are trainers far and wide who would give up their lot for a horse like her.

They wouldnt head to the Mares Hurdle!

I don't know if i agree TC. Quevega was a wonderful horse. She wasn't always good enough to beat the boys but then again Annie Power wasn't good enough at the top table against the gents last season either. I really was impressed by More of That at last years Festival but playing devils advocate, he was basically a developing handicapper. At Fishers Cross is a dog and Big Bucks was over the hill.

Doesn't the same argument apply to handicappers who are top weight? Wouldn't they also be classed as bottling it when they could be running in Championship races? I just think they're sending her (as they did with Quevega) to a race she has the best chance of winning.

Totally. Can't believe her coming off the back of an injury and without a run all season that that twat Mullins is placing her in her ideal race against her own sex over, crucially, her OPTIMUM distance. Can't believe he's not putting her into the Champion were she's too slow or the World Hurdle where she can't beat More of That. You'd think he was placing her in the race where she's likliest to win what an idiotic thing. Especially considering she's heading into the Festival of an interrupted season. To hell with the horses wellbeing or trying to do what's best for the mare off an injury. What a twat that Mullins geezer is eh <doh>
