Here's the last 6 seasons of relegated teams with their position (in brackets) at this stage of the season 2013/14 Norwich (15), Fulham (16), Cardiff (18) 2012/13 Wigan (17), Reading (19), QPR (20) 2011/12 Bolton (19), Blackburn (17), Wolves (16) 2010/11 Birmingham (16), Blackpool (10), West Ham (20) 2009/10 Burnley (18), Hull (19), Portsmouth (20) 2008/09 Newcastle (16), Middlesbrough (18), West Brom (20) Based on this we can see that Everton (12) will almost certainly not be relegated Only Blackpool have been relegated from a worse position
No idea and still too early to say - but it would please me to see Everton relegated even though I don't think it will happen this season.
Nah, I'd like them to be in the mix until the end of the season (for the lols) but actual relegation would destroy the club if they weren't back up before the parachute payments ended
I used to think the same way. I remember when they were minutes away from relegation and changing my mind about them being relegated. However, I now find less and less affiliation with them. If they go they go - but as I said I don't think thi season.
I wouldn't like to see the Blues relegated. Rivalry is one thing, but I don't wish that on them. They're like family, you can hate them- but they're still family.
lol @ the bitterness 2nd longest unbroken top flight status behind Arsenal and more top flight seasons than any other club We're going nowhere, dream on.
Dave was licking his bitter lips at the prospect ...but even he's not daft enough to think that it'll happen, however I note he added the caveat of THIS season.....lol.
Dave was not licking his lips at the prospects (which by the way are not bitter at all). I said that I no longer held the same degree of feeling for them as I once did or that saint retains .I would not shed tears if they did get relegated. The bitterness that has emanated from their supporters has all but killed that 'brotherly' feeling for me.
Don't bother your head mate, I'm sure we'll get over it p.s. referring to yourself in the 3rd person, the callsign of the fruitcake.
Personally I'd hate to see Everton go down. As is there are only so many big games in a season, lessening that in any way is a big no no for me. Mind you, West Ham is now a big game for us
Not having the ability to comprehend the grammar of the language that you are using is an indication of illiteracy.
Maybe so, and failing to grasp that you've referred to yourself in the 3rd person would make that particular cap yours.
on the OP.... I am still unsure as to who will actually go down and it is tight enough that anyone can go on a ru nand anyone in the bottom half can fall down and get relegated. I think bruce at hull is in serious trouble, hence bid i nthe offing for borini.. even if on loan QPR have a goal scorer but are terrible away and concede a lot of goals. Leicester need to make a change as atkins has not got it going. they should go if it goes on much longer But really who knows... The villa shout by 10% is interesting and prob not bad as they are really strange... they lift it for utd... then crap it up again. in the end vlaar is out but benteke is back in so I can see them getting enough goals if the chips are down This is why unless burnely get more goals i can see them in trouble For the record.... I would NEVER want everton to get relegated. EVER. I always want them to go win something as long as we don't meet them in that comp. However. Palace have made the change... a lot depends on transfers now.. i don't rate pardew and never did so it'll be interesting to see that... they lack points so call them safe West brom have hired on pulis.. i expect big changes there. Wisdom will learn how to defend.... expect rodgers to sell him immediately I see them as being safe especially if nobody bids on berahino as they see him costing less in summer due to contract down to 2 years Villa are poor but can socre goals with benteke Sunderland are awful. I feel they need to buy to stay up and figure out that they can attack. Burnely recently seem to have finally come to terms with the prem. Ings, vokes and a couple more might score enough to keep them up. They can defend. I alomost fancy them to pull it off Hull... its gone tits up for bruce... surprised he didn't jum ship but it seems his time has passed for newkie job so he'd best get his finger out... they cannot defend half the time QPR: shockingly bad... happy harry is found out big style. lack of goals = lack of defence is exposed. austin is their hope... they can drag others in Leicester look bad... So......... all in all right now leicester have to be favorites, QPR need to do all their work at home... hull look bad... then i'd add sunderand and burnley as most likely but would still feel palace might be in there.... in other words a 1/3rd of the prem are in danger.
