Leicester City carry on with their quest to become the Man City of the Championship with the most recent purchase of the Skate, David Nugent on a free but no doubt maintaining a wage he had at Skate Land of £40k a week Is this a sustainable programme of growth for a champioship club if they don't get promoted this coming season or are we going to see another good club come crashing down when the rich owners get board Hope NC maintains a sustainable growth plan - we have been on the rocks before and above everything don't want to go through administration etc again! Dark Lord
As I said on another thread - I think people are forgetting that about 5 of their first X1 at the end of last season were loan players, so they are trying to replace the quality of the likes of Yakubu and Kyle Naughton who have now returned to their parent clubs.
Have to say I was so glad that we didn't get Sven as manager. Just couldn't bear to watch his post-match interviews.
this squad could run away with this league, but he is not building a team for the premiership. they will achieve nothing over the course of 3 years. build slowly with a goal in mind
See Leicester have been at it again with ridiculous bids for Maynard too - I think they look at anyone we are looking at and try to outbid us in terms of fee and salary to stop us building an even stronger squad Or am I being paranoid? Dark Lord
You know the old saying: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean the b*****ds aren't out to get you. But yes, I'm sure you're paranoid.
