Why is Bruce getting so many votes, he did barely anything other than gifting them their best chance in the first half? Figgy(bizarrely) Davies Meyler
I thought he got some decent blocks/tackles in, especially in the first period of the first half. Not exactly a huge choice to pick from.
Bruce....stood out in defence for solid tackles Figueroa.....mistake free for once and made several penetrating runs upfield Ince....looked lively and more incisive than Hernandez...start him up front next game
Livermore Davies Bruce I didn't think we were that bad overall, we just had nothing up front as usual.
It was easier to look okay wide (Elmo failed, though and it flattered Figs a tad), but the graft was on Bruce and Chester, so odd mistakes where emphasised. I said it over Xmas and I was argued down, Elmo is defensively poor, the most basic of instinctive reactions at top professional level was poor and squandered the graft of the centre backs.
Figgy Chester Meyler Seriously struggled after Figueroa so had to think of who did the least wrong, never looked like scoring.
1. Jake Livermore - worked his socks off. 2. Curtis Davies 3. Alex Bruce We looked really poor going forward, no incisive running or passing.
How can people vote for Meyler, lost count of the number of times he was in the way of a pass to someone else, and also the amount of times he gave the ball away in our half
Difficult to pick any MOM performances, particularly watching on a dodgy stream, so struggling but will go for: Livermore Bruce Davies There were several error strewn performances but I noticed Quinn in particular seemed to make more than most and a couple of times they very nearly led to us conceding.
I went and am struggling to pick anyone- maybe Livermore for work rate. However the real winner was Tony Pulis' massive white trainers, which could be seen from space.
