Ok, haven't seen all of this thread, but it seems that there are (as usual) facts and rumours... FACTS Man City want Bony Bony wants to go to Man City Man City are a bit short of the money (but could easily make £4m if the sell Jimmy Milner or someone else) RUMOURS Bony has asked for ridiculous wages Aguero returning could dampen City's drive to fight for the deal. I think Wilfried should be careful what he asks for because Man City could easily tell him to piss off if he ****s them about over wages and Aguero plays well in January. Man City aren't gonna want to fall foul of FFP again and lots of us 'smaller' clubs may not meet their valuation of the squad of expensive players they have. That would leave them having to drop prices or lose big names. If they had a choice between losing Milner and gaining Bony, I'd say Milner has been more important to them than Bony could be to them.

Possible replacement. Big and strong. http://www.shoot.co.uk/category/news/swansea-set-to-move-for-championship-star/ Not so many goals this year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Deeney
High low is not the issue, The right type of player is..If we can get a player in the £8 - £10m bracket rather than the £10 - £20m then that is better for us. They are out there somewhere its just the case of our scouts finding them..
Dutch website says Bony fee agreed with Man City - £27m. Also suggests that Vitesse will get a cut http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...fer-news/wilfried-bony-man-city-talks-8419885
They're now saying a £27 million fee has been agreed. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...fer-news/wilfried-bony-man-city-talks-8419885
We'd better throw another player into the deal quick and then we can say Bony was a free transfer and not pay Vitesse anything
Deal's almost done by the sounds of it. BBC Sport are reporting the fee is agreed, and it's all over Twitter too. "In the region of £30m".
Breaking news on SSN, fee in excess of £25 million. Good luck to Bony. Deserves a crack at the big time
"Good luck",indeed. I wonder how long it will be before the inevitable anti Bony hate posts begin to materialise on here. Those Cardiff posters were quite right when they called Bony "a donkey".
96 thousand euros a week , even with bonuses and incentives seems a bit low , not much more than Gomis makes but Bony will get a big raise when Citys money restrictions are relaxed .Thanks to Bony , for the goals , good play and the money
Yes Huw understood http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/clubs/swansea-city/article4320015.ece Manchester City have agreed an initial £25 million fee with Swansea City to sign Wilfried Bony, the Ivory Coast striker. The club expect to formally conclude the transfer in the next 72 hours after finally reaching an agreement with Swansea. Under the terms of the deal, the Barclays Premier League champions will pay £25 million upfront for Bony with a further £3 million payable depending on the team’s success in the coming seasons
