    Australia 4 -1 Kuwait

Great start from the Roos! I know we don't need any more AM's but take a look at James Troisi, my MOM. Bring on South Korea and our boy!

Good but expected result for Australia , who do you fancy for the Korean game , I think Korea will win it with just a bit more talent although the Roos on home soil who knows

Have to agree, although I'd say Aus v Korea for the final too. Last night's game was played at the "Melbourne Rectangular Stadium". Never heard of that one! They have so many stadia down there they have to tell people the shape of it so they will turn up at the right place!

    S. Korea 1 Oman 0
    Poor game

    Half time
    Uzbekistan 0 N. Korea 0 or (Uzbekistan 0 N. Kores 6 for viewers in N. Korea)
at half time - better quality Uzbek look better across the park (not the N. Korean left back!) apart from final third but NK (not short for Nuke) look like the could spring something on the break.
Uzbeks looking like us in the Championship.

the old Olympic Park BrisJack, remember going there for the first State of Origin played in Melbourne in early 90s, was a terrible ground, 15,000 capacity. Now its all done up with a new name, also known as AAMI Stadium

Seen a few highlights , I think it was South Korea, not sure about Ki but they're keeper pulled off a save for the ages point blank .Not sure how , there was absolutely no reaction time and he push it up off the crossbar ... one of the better saves I've seen ...more like a muscle spasm save really .

Qatar who we all know are hosting the 2022 World Cup have just been thumped 4-1 by the UAE. One of the worst goalkeeping displays I have ever witnessed.

OK to early to get excited but the Roos ran them ragged last night, fitness levels were amazing. I don't post often about the Swans but I'm always looking out for anyone we could get hold of and develop. Massimo Luongo played a blinder against Kuwait. He went a little quiet in the second half last night but he's a pinpoint crosser of the ball which is an area we can improve on by all accounts. The step up to the premier league from Swindon might be tough at the moment but we seem to be storing up and nurturing players, maybe someone we could take a punt on.

Tomi Juric is the other one I like the look of 23 year old striker with the Western Sydney Wanderers. Anyone any thoughts?
