Have to be Happy with that even though we really must spend more time on the training pitch practising our finishing by all the relevant players. We looked good as a team considering the players not playing but our finishing is letting us down with alarming consistency...

Watched quite a bit of the Manshitty game , they'll be on the blower to Huw stumping up all 30 Million , never mind needing someone who stays healthy , they need a finisher desperately. And with 19 shots and only 3 on goal , we could use a bit of finishing ourselves

Cant fault that 2nd half performance and the draw was a fair result against, i hate to say it, a very decent West Ham side. For once Monk got the subs right, Dyer was ineffectual and Routledge was diabolical, Siggy was decent its got to be said but Oliviera gave us that bit more energy, he looks like a decent signing. Fair play to Gomis too, he worked hard all game, linked up well with Emnes and deserved his goal. Both Emnes and Barrow should be pushing for a starting place next week imo. Rangel also needs to be rested and can someone tell me why Ashes defensive headers always go to an opposition player!!

Agree. There was a natural understanding and flow in their passing and moving. I'd argue that Carroll should be a top transfer target in the summer.

Glad I wore those fur undies today  I was bloody freezing. I called the correct score as well. <diva>

I agree with most of what's been said. Gomis was man of the match and kept going until the end. Ridiculous that there was so much abuse of him on the Twitter-sphere yesterday so I hear. Fernandez was fab and made few mistakes against one of the most tricky CFs in the game (I still hate Andy Carroll). Made one mistake and it led to the goal but can't fault the finish.

Mo and Marvin were a breath of fresh air, both taking on the defenders whilst Dyer and Routledge backtracked or passed inside. Don't know what it is with those two lately. I agree with Dragonphill though. Just because a player is off his game we shouldn't look for a knee jerk sale.

Leon was outstanding and chased everything. Like others have said he and Tom worked well together. Oliviera looks tasty. :emoticon-0141-whew:

But I was frustrated at our players doing the difficult things well like winning tackles they had no right to win, then passing the ball away. West Ham though were organised and well drilled so we did well to get that point.

The only sour note was Ash having a go at the crowd when they got on his back after a bad pass - he definitely did because it was right in front of me in the East Stand. Just waved his arms a bit but still....He has to realise that he earns more in a week than many do in a year and if he gives the ball away he will get moans from the crowd. Apart from that period though he had a very good game I thought.

Onwards and upwards - it's only Chelsea next <yikes>

There is not a lot wrong with the football at all. It's the finishing that is not that good and that applies whether bony plays or not. We have not been that good all season when you count the amount of chances we have had.

Thought Rangel passing was very poor today. Gave it away too easily too often. Barrow emnes gomis look to have a good understanding and look to break quickly and not stop at half way line like routs and dyer

I'd have taken a point before today's game!

The double substitution worked in that they seemed to breathe new life into the team, especially Gomis, who was clearly energised after the change. In fact, many around me were calling for Oliveira to replace Gomis.

As for (Basil) Oliveira, I thought that he had an encouraging cameo!

Bring on Emnes ...proof there are still gems to be had ..Gomis should have buried that flick pass by Emnes to send him in one on one . Britton is as done in this league as a raw steak . Glad the "Guns have silenced" on Taylor these days . Funny , Willams and Fernandez both looked liked schoolkids on Carroll goal ...but not a critisizm to be seen .

I agree Carroll (Tom) should be a target in the summer and it looks like he enjoys his football with us.

I see old Anthony (Controversy) Taylor is up to it again at the Palace Spurs game

Montero and Barrow would appear to be our best two wingers at present. Emnes still blows a bit hot and cold for me.

I thought Carroll was excellent - can't remember a misplaced pass all game. Great second half with both teams really going for it towards the end. A draw was a fair result I think.

Mrs Miggins, how could you have Gomis as MOM, he didn't move until the 70th minute, (spurs losing 2-1 to Palace)
