What's your beef with Hargreaves? Cracking player when he was fit and never a bad word to say about anyone.

That first vid is only 40 seconds long because he did his hamstring after a minute.

To be fair Stereo, that comment could sum up about 75% of the regulars on the general chat forum.

If fit (and I know that's a very big if) he would walk straight into the Liverpool team, or indeed any other Premier League team. Before he got his tendonitis, he was a brilliant player and an integral part of 2 Champions League winning teams.

He wouldn't walk into the Liverpool team. I wouldn't even put him in our midfield, it seems since he's been missing for 2 years from first team football he has gone from decent defensive midfielder to a world class midfielder who apparently dominated every game he played in.

Well I watched every game he played for United, and most England games, and he is the best midfielder we've had since Roy Keane at his best. So yes, he would get in the Liverpool team. Who would keep him out in his position? Lucas? <laugh>

I feel sorry for Hargreaves. He was always a great player with a first rate attitude and work rate but once you injure your knee you are buggared for the rest of your life. I hope he can resurrect his career.

I just want to take the opportunity to point out in another article today several people named him as an example of an English player who'd left England and succeeded on the continent...except he's Canadian and had never lived or played in England until he moved to Man U from Munich

I'm not a bitter Canadian football fan though, I could never blame anyone picking the England national team over ours, if you can, you should...but I do hope he resurrects his career...preferably somewhere besides Man U though

I'd have Lucas the way he is over Hargreaves.

The videos don't prove anything about his fitness apart from he can manage under a minute of silly jogging.

He was a decent player but he should just take up coaching early to keep his football career alive <ok>
