Welcome to the forum SMH. As you say, we haven't done well in past seasons against the teams at the top but this year we are taking points off those teams and that's really helping us stay in the mix.
Remember that Derby systematically kicked Jonny Williams out of the game last season because he was a threat, makes me wonder what McLaren has in mind for Murph and McG, it could be a day for cool heads and a good Ref.
Nervy and hope to get a link to watch. Would take 1-1 but Town confounding my predictions positively all season so hope that continues.
Off shortly to watch this in the pub with a mate who's a Derby fan. I'll go for 2-1 Town to win me a pint. Bloody nervous about Bent though!
Welcome SMH Normally i am nervy about games like this but tbh am just excited?? First thing i thought about when i opened my eyes this morning was the match!! Shortly followed by a vision of a lovely bottle of Rioja!! Enjoy ladies, cheer on the town and then cheer on them pesky budgies!?
DARN!!! Well I had that feeling about this game. Not the end of the world, regroup and looking forward to seeing the boys on the B.B.C Wednesday night taking on the saints. Come on the Town!
Bollox!! Think the officials were absolute gash today, thought Mick got it wrong, Parr should have started, poor substitutions showed how much we need more creativity in midfield. Hunt brothers work hard but not got quality and i thought Anderson was pathetic!! Still, onwards and upwards, Soton Weds and a winnable away game on Saturday at Millwall!! Gutted but heyho!!
Very good away performance from Derby and kudos to Martin for his post match comments; level headed and reasonable (just like me) - seem like a decent bloke. After the first 10 minutes Derby were the better side in the first half, but it was our second half attacking performance that gave me the hump. I know Derby were playing well but absolutely everything broke down, often for no easily excusable reason. We have to be better than that against teams around us. After my sustained swearing bout, I can forgive Tommy Smith for a defensive cock up given his form this season and all the goals he’s knocked in.
Cant understand why Tabb played, MM has got most things right over the last 3 months or so but just feel his decisions were poor today. If a player is ill before a game, why play him?
Couple of things I would like to see MM try on Wednesday: 1. Bru in the middle with Bishop 2. Mings played on the left in front of Parr Let me know what you think
We just seemed too anxious today and Derby got what luck was going.. just got to rebound with a performance against the Saints
Hoppers, i said same thing to my old man yesterday, Mings reminds me of Herman H amd think he would be really good at LM
