At the start of the season not too many would want him back. New year and sitting at the wrong end of the table, lack of chances and goals, fans see him as a saviour. My fear is he was always reported to be lazy on the training field, lack of football in 2 years nobody else wants him I would question the move.

    Bucks, with respects,

    go onto youtube

you'll be able to see the type of goals he scored, not all poacher goals either.

The madhouse here is far better than than the asylum on JA606....<party>

The amount of goals he scored for us he should have been a legend.

Why isn't he a legend, why is he one that divides opinion so much?

The answer is probably the same reason we shouldn't have him back.

I'd have him back on loan, i'd certainly have him on the pitch ahead of Morison and probably ahead of Doukara if he's fit enough.

With all due respect that's a highlights reel. Yes he has scored some bangers but he is poacher by trade. Notice most of the goals came directly from wing play as well? Not our style at the moment. Not to mention the amount scored in league one when he was about 4 years younger, match fit and against weaker opposition. Still better than morro though but I don't think he is the answer. <ok>

Good point shaks except when relegated we wont be able to afford him again and will have to offload him again. Vicious circle you see

would have him back, the lift it would give the club, would be massive, can hold the ball up well as he did for Beckford for years and for the first time this season we would be a big threat from corners.

I do believe relegation is a serious possibility. If we do go down I also believe Sharp, Austin and Wooton even Ajose would shine in L1 I can't see the loan players staying so I would hold fire with them at the moment.

A lot of my comments are tongue in cheek. On current form yes we could go down, after 42+ years supporting the mighty Whites I've seen a lot and nothing would surprise me. The only saving grace is there are 2 sides I think are worse, so that leaves one place to fill, so hopefully it won't be us.

I know what you mean Shako,

I do have a funny feeling we'll do better in 2nd half of season, how much better is unknown because of Redders selections and subbings etc, and what impact any new players have, but I think we'll beat the drop.

As Blackpool have one spot nailed on, Brighton will pull clear under Hughton, that leaves two places between three teams. Us, Wallies and Wigan. Too close to call. Unless there is an upturn in our form were likely to go down as I believe Wigans form may improve. Our January signings will need to have an impact. Three consecutive wins would get us out of bother but current squad is woefully short of being able to achieve that

Eire, I think Rotherham and Huddersfield will help out in the end by falling apart more than we will.
Last weeks performance against Sunderland did leave a glimmer of hope for the rest of season.
Hopefully winter games dont upset some players !!!
