Have only just read VT's statement. I take my hat off to him. Any person who can wallows his pride, admit a mistake and paraphrase JFK so appropriately deserves a nod. I know we're a fickle lot (and that's prt of the fun in away) but I'm beginning to think that there may be some hope here. Vi really do hope he doesn't plan on selling now.!

Even speaking as a QPR fan with less than fond memories of some visits to Cardiff, I was really pleased to hear about this rare victory for good sense in modern football. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Cheers there Redprintt pal - it's been far too long coming but at least common sense has finally prevailed.

Most of us recognise we owe an awful lot to Vince, but he was spoiling the whole thing with his insistence on red.

Happy days - just got to transfer that to the pitch now. <ok>

Thank you Mr. Tan for your change of heart. Special thanks to Mr. Tan's mam ( you should always listen to your mam) and a thumbs up to the football league for sanctioning the kit changes. Right Mr. Slade and City players get your act together on the field.

What pearls of wisdom will dull dia spout regarding this? Great to see common sense prevail. Onward and, hopefully, upwards.

Hull fan in peace. Congratulations on your return to blue. Fans standing up for their clubs history and tradition, but also well done to VT, having the minerals to admit he was wrong. Chuffed for you all.

    Congrats :D

Shame it took you so long to make a united stand, but better late than ever. Fan power wins! Respect to the football league for also allowing the change mid season.

Enjoy and you never know what this could do for your season?

Chuffed for you Bluebirds - the power of true fans wins the day!! Whatever you think of Tan the man you have to give him credit for listening! He has invested a fortune into CCFC and has shown that he will act in the interest of true bluebirds! He came to the club with little knowledge of football and what it meant to fans. He was naive at first but has now shown that he is an owner that will listen to the concerns of the CCFC fan base! Onwards and upwards bluebirds - a club united and a force to be reckoned with!

It's fantastic that we are going to wear blue again and hopefully we can move forward on the pitch as well.
VT will always be remembered for changing the colour and sadly it will always overshadow the good things he has done.
The man has stepped up and corrected a wrong, he has made a number of mistakes but they are far out-weighed by what he has given us thus far.
Will he ever win the hearts of the fanbase? No I think not but they must remember everyone makes mistakes and it takes a big man to admit it. "He hasn't said sorry" I saw someone wrote. He has indeed said sorry by his actions. It took a while but he got the message and acted. So well done to VT for doing the right thing.

Now what's this about the badge...

Great news. I was rapidly losing interest in the club due to the bitching moaning and infighting. A big hats off to Tan. We are BLUEbirds again :)

Jees Taff, if that is true, it's ridiculous. Why should he say sorrry? He was entitled to do it. He was wrong, but has righted it and also given an effin fortune. He has climbed down in order to save face, and the fact he has don that is massive in the Chinese culture, and you will never get the apology.

That annoying ayatollah thingy will be bouncing tomorrow & the twelth man will be in full force, will the eleven who have let you down so far step up? Regardless of the result , I am sure you will enjoy :)

I'm really pleased that common sense has prevailed and you are back in Blue

The owner has finally realised that although he owns the club it belongs to the fans
