Did fickle Utd let 'the chosen one' go too early?

David Moyes (the chosen one) Real Sociedad side stopped Barcelona going top of La Liga. In fact has made a fantastic start to his La Liga career losing only once. Yet as 5th choice at Utd he never really seemed to get all the ego's to come together.

Now Mr Maestro is free from the circus that is Utd as he looks to be set for a promising career abroad making him the first Utd manager to do so since Tommy Doc and Big Ron.

I think he has lost 2 games though?

My bad just checked only lost 1 looked at bbc website and got facts from there just checked but this is what it says on bbc website.

For a team which had already beaten Real Madrid and defending champions Atletico Madrid in San Sebastian this season, it was the perfect start.
Sociedad have been difficult to beat under Moyes, with just two losses in their previous seven matches since the former Manchester United and Everton boss took over in November, and they clung tenaciously to their lead.

To be fair he didn't concede 5 goals against Spurs.

Exactly, when did Utd ever tenaciously cling to anything with the defence they have. Moyes in my view will go on to greater things in Spain and probably knock out Utd from next years Europa Cup.

If you're lucky Queenie he could be the next Chelsea manager after Jose is sacked for selling Fwank to City!

The way I see it with David Moyes is a big club manager at a little club, and a little club manager at a big club.

    End of. lol

Indeed, nice to see him at a big club now. Oh how he must have laughed at the Leicester game. <laugh>

  10. There were plenty of people who wanted Moyes at Spurs...

    Mainly Gooners.

Fickle. Like class its a word Chelsea fans should stay well away from <laugh>

Imagine supporting a club who sacks its two most successful managers. One just months after lifting the european cup.

On topic, Moyes has done nothing many other sociedad managers haven't dont these past 7 years. Thats how long it is since Barcelona beat Sociedad at sociedad.

    Plus, Barcelonas manager is ****.

Nice try though Oswald. Moyes has only gone and done what Jose failed miserably at... Beating barcelona at the first attempt... 5-0 was it on Jose's first failure?

    Ouch!

Personally I always thought he should have he has always done well with clubs that don't have too much cash i.e. Preston & Everton. Going to the ego Circus was always going to take him time to bed in with players like Plug, Wayne Syrup thinking they were the maffia. I did warn you about the Tea Boy but as always you have to learn these things yourself although I think Pinocchio is a good man if not a tad wooden at times.

Barcelona even scored the goal for him. He clearly played for a 0-0 draw.

Apparently due to the immense pressure they had Barca under forced them to concede. Never could have done that at Utd.

He didn't lose against us either, nor have £150 million to spend. He also kept your best player, even when Fergie had signed his death warrant <whistle>
