If a spokesperson for the Group apologised and admitted they had got it wrong, I would consider forgiving them for their indiscretion.
I have never in all my time of watching Saints seen any fans with a flag saying Scum Army. I refuse to believe these are Saints fans, I reckon as others have said that this is a Pompey fan wind up. Convenient that all of their faces are covered.
People will do anything to kid themselves. It's staggering. These people are Saints fans, a quick look at the Twitter accounts of certain individuals I believe to have been involved show they have 'favourited' the photo, too.
How the irony of "Scum Army" is lost on many here but it's probably due to your age if you don't understand it. Those lads follow SFC all round the country and that flag has been seen many times at away games.. Wrong what they did but they are know for bieng called Scum army so the cat fits.. They are always in good voice away from home and that's good enough for me as we have far too many plastics who like to sit behind a computer and moan instead of getting behind the lads IMO..
Moaning on a forum is better then moaning at a match. I hate how people use the term plastics for fans that don't go to a lot of games. The end of the day we all support the same team. We are all passionate about Saints. The number of games you go to shouldn't determine how good a fan you are. There is plenty of reasons why a person can't go to a game. It doesn't matter if 'Scum Army' are always loud at away games etc. This thread isn't on about how loud or how passionaye they are at games.They did a stupid thing and that is what is being discussed.

True tho. That isn't actually calling people insane or mad. It's saying the idea of other fans doing all this to make some Saints fans look bad is crazy.
They're Saints fans, which looks like outside the Saints pub......few beers...few lads....silly prank for social media. Not the cleverest thing they will do in their lives......not condoning their action but I'm sure a lot of us when young, beered up with mates have probably done things we would rather forget.
