Yeah that makes great sense Take your 3 best players out of your team and you'd be pretty sh*te an' all!
Well we're (or have been) missing Dawson, Diame, Huddlestone, Robertson, Snodgrass, Hernandez, Ramirez and Quinn for the last few weeks and we've picked up six points and gone above you. Think that says more about your team than it does about our strength in depth, because our squad players aren't great.
So let me get this straight. We're terrible even though we're level with you in the table but that's because you've had injuries and we haven't? We've had injuries pal. Our two best midfielders, Sandro and Faurlin, have been sidelined for practically the whole season. Arguably our best player (Taarabt) refuses to play for us and we've got an ex-Wolves workhorse (Karl Henry) playing every game in midfield. You should check your facts before you start rubbishing other teams mate. It could come back to bite you at some point.
I'm aware of your midfielders being missing, I didn't really consider Faurlin to be that important to your midfield, but fair enough. Obviously Sandro missing is a blow, but aside from those two and Taarabt kicking off, you've been at full strength everywhere else. If Austin leaves (he probably won't) where are the goals going to come from? An ageing Bobby Zamora? It's not very likely is it? You have quality in there, no doubt, but I just think it'll be a big ask for you over the course of the season, especially if Austin gets injured.
So apart from your two best midfielders, your best player overall and various other injuries..............you've been at full strength! I'm reminded of this
Taarabt is not your best player, not in a million years. He's not even in the top 20 best QPR players.
He's not even in their current players, he won't play for them again. Incidentally, a near full strength (that's a side featuring Onuoha, Ferdinand, Traore, Fer, Henry, Mutch, Phillips, Hoillett and Austin) QPR team lost at home to a League 1 side today. That's gotta hurt.
Seems a shame and a waste of talent. Looked a great prospect and no doubt has/had talent. Doesn't seem to have his head screwed on though
He's got the talent alright but so have hundreds of others out there running around inn the Prem every week. Diffrence is they make an effort to train and dont look for the easy way out. UIf he put in the hard graft he could be a decent prem player but he obviously believes that he doesnt need too. If he really was that good then someone else in this or some other league would have signed him by now....facts are he's had 5 diffrent managers at 3 diffrent clubs and he hasnt cut it. Thats why im intrested in Mahrez. many similarities but he appears to have the right attitude as well
Crikey missed that, Harry has gone and you are in charge? Who are the other 20 odd players you are going to bring in this window?
poor result regardless of how you try and dress it up. We made 7 changes also v Newcastle. anyway ill let you get back to arguing the toss with the Hull fans.....
Another bad loss in the cup was not unexpected , in fact quite a few of us backed it. A poor result would have been a draw.
Well are the players I mentioned not first team players? Maybe not Ferdinand, but I recall the others playing a fair bit.
Surprised Harry played so many of your 1st team. I saw a lot of your fans were annoyed he played a tired Austin for the full 90 mins too. Do you have no promising youth players he could have given a run out,?
There are a lot there you mentioned that think they should be 1st team players, but they aren't cos they are either woefully out of form, or just terminally crap. Only Fer, Austin & Henry of that lot will start at Burnley (huge game BTW!! )
I think he probably thought he had to put out a fairly good team being in front of a home crowd, But its about attitude, ours treated it like a training match apparently ! I was very surprised Austin played, we had a young Irish striker called Reece Cox.on the bench he could have given a debut to .
Was just taking a look on your board, at a post about Harry's press conferences. coming out with the same stuff every week, shrugging his shoulders, sipping his cup of tea. Like you said big game v Burnley on sat. Same as our game v Villa.
