Took my girls to watch the game and well yeah. The team looked set up as a 352 from the off. I sat behind the goal front row and one major concern was the lack of communication and talking during set pieces, there seemed to be some discourt between the players throwing looks at each other. The crowd were on the players backs from the moment they kicked off and considering the amount that is said about the atmosphere, today was flat with very little joining in of cheering the team on. Rio wasnt at the races today and cannot be considered first team material. Traore tried hard but left isolated against a fast tricky winger, Hoillett wasnt as bad as some say with some nice runs but again confidence is a problem. At times we had no midfield and when Sheff Utd run down centre of pitch they were left unchallenged. Phillips..... yeah well not sure how he managed to convince anyone his a pro. Austin looked dejected and down and can see him going at this rate. When caulker and henry taken off thought then that we had no chance. Isla and Vargas at least gave some attacking options and Vargas had a nice forearm smash against him go unpunished. Oh well what will be will be and fingers crossed this is the kick up the arse they needed as home form is great if it continues on this evidence though not enough.
