I would do it, purely because while Sissoko is undoubtedly one of the few matchwinners in our side, his pure presence doesn't increase the rest of the team's ability like Cabaye.

Where does Sissoko even play? Anybody got a clue? Is he a winger? No... Is he a CM? Double no... Is he a DM? Our survey says, nuh huh... He's a luxury player really. Cabaye improves a much more pivotal role in my opinion.

Not that in any universe Cabaye would ever come back to the ****ness that is Netto... I mean Newcastle <doh>

I would snap their hands off for a deal like this, Cabaye is the play maker and combined with Perez would be quite special, the positives far outweigh the negatives of losing Sissoko.

Oh Yes, if only this were true ....I like Sissoko, but he doesn't have half the quality/footballing intelligence that Cabaye adds to a team. He MAKES everyone raise their game with his vision, passing and drive

yes from me for the reasons above. sissoko is too hot & cold for me, cracking on his day but i always think he makes wrong decisions like passing when he should be running and vice versa.

plus im sure cabaye would love to come back.

PSG have devalued Cabaye by not playing him. If they want Sissoko, a player who has been playing regularly, who has come on leaps and bounds, is younger and has plenty of potential to improve in the future... It should be Cabaye + cash.

I am sure this is dreamland, but firstly if true this would be awesome.

I like Sissoko but Cabaye played, as said above, at another level and hopefully could do again.

Also if we did get him back, it might be that having made the big money move and had it fail, he would be less likely to do it again and as a result a little more loyal to us.

As if these bullshit swap stories ever actually happen. As if Cabaye would come back to Newcastle. Sissoko will almost certainly be sold in the next 8 months though making mega rich Ashley just a tiny bit richer, while ****ing our club over yet again.

How about we just keep Sissoko, sell Anita and buy Cabaye? Oh right, ambition.

That would be the right way to go but it aint gonna happen that way, probably sell Sissoko, Tiote, Anita and miss out on Cabaye cause Ashley doesn't want to pay more than £3mill.

Yep. We have Colback and Abeid (who I am more than happy with to be honest). I have no problem with a one in and one out policy. We have the right number of players, but just the wrong types. I only say sell Anita because we don't seem to like him. The player who actually fits in least of all our options is Tiote. And he is regressing too.

Cabs has a much bigger impact/influence on matches than Moussa. If offered and Sissoko wants to leave? I'd take Cabs. Alone for his set pieces.

The more I've thought about this deal, the more I think this is the only way I would like to see Sissoko leave in this window. If we could get a player of Cabaye's calibre and potentially (hopefully) plus cash. That has got to be the best scenario all around, bar not losing Sissoko. I have no faith in the board to adequately replace Sissoko, if we weren't getting a player in part ex.

Obviously, this is all hypothetical, as it's probably just the usual transfer gossip.
